first of all I really hope this doesn't instigate any arguments/fights...this is for healthy discussion...and if its not allowed then mods of section please close the topic😊

OK so I was watching Ghost Rider yesterday(yes the one with Nicolas Cage because my idiot of a brother wouldn't change the channel😡) anyways so I was watching it and I was blown away by the effects that they showed....I was like wow

so from the dawn of time Hollywood and Bollywood have always been compared...and always Hollywood comes out to be the better one(esp when BW copies their movies).....I want to know is why...like I what to know why everyone always says HW is better? but in what sense....like the type of movies presented? the actors? the awesome CGI animation??

anyways I know this is a stupid question...but I just wanted a healthy discussion and see your views..😊

HW is soo much better...thats true..

reason-- i look forward to Sanam's ji answer LOL

i think becuz the way 1) its presented ,

2)of course the ACTORS
one thing i really like is HW doesnt care about SKIN COLOR....if someone is black and they are good in acting they suit the role they go for that person not like BW where dark skin color ppl are shown the doors!

3) hw movies have stories not like BW... kay bus akki is in the movie no story the film is declaared blockbuster

4)some times the lenght of the moive 1hr 30 or 45 mins.....i mean they finish the story in 1 hr 45 min...the pace of the movie is soo quick....where as bw...2 hrs 20 mins or sometimes even 3 hrs...

if the movie is good like ghajni or Laagan its bearable but what about crap movies?? 1hr will be fast 2nd hr will suckk vice versa...

just my 2 cents😳

possibly because even the worst of movies do not drage on forever because of their length...

hollywood has a lot of older actors play a much younger guy too, LOL... but mostly their scripts are better so at least it does not make you cringe as much...

overall, if we compare, hollywood produces just as many crap movies as bollywood... but since most of the 'high profile actors' have better movies, hollywood is considered better...

i'm in a hurry... so will think more about it and get back to you... LOL... as of now, this is what's coming to mind... if it does not make sense, that's not my fault... i blame it on lack of rest and food...!! 😳

well the movie I was watching had Nicolas Cage in it...and he;s 40+ and he played a young guy around 20's😛

they are highly imaginative...have strong scripts...and in their movies action and expressions speak more...thats why HW is better than BW..

Because there's not as much Nepotism. And yes a Miley Cyrus or a Zax Effron maybe famous for nothing but at least they don't win Oscars like Imran and Ranbir win filmfare in India. Oh and my favorite reason of all: Independent films have equal chance of winning the academy awards!

I agree...and i LOVE both Zac and Miley😳😳 basically every teen star I like😛 and yes I agree that deserving people get their dues
