Archu and Manav are too soft. Do they really belong to this century? They are from fairy tale and it seems they are so fragile and will break easily. The world is too cruel for such soft persons. When they will grow?

I do accept Manav and Archana are soft but i think they both respect each other very much that no one will be able to break trust of each other easily, that is reason it is Pavitra Rishta

I don't think they are 'soft'. When the need arises they can also fight for their rights, like Manav when he beat that creepo black and blue or gave bak a good answer to ajit. Also when that bangle seller tried to cheat Manav off Rs. 200, Archu fought with him and also she fought with the vegetable vendor for Rs. 2 !!
It is just that they are very emotional and attached to the people they love, especially to their aai's. In that respect I find their characters very relatable. Many husbands in India stand as silent spectators to their mother's misdeeds towards their wives, coz they dont want to challenge or hurt them. Many woman too do not make a hungama out of quarrels with their MIL thinking that the matter would only get worse.

I do agree however that the way their love story has been presented is very fairy tale like... made for each other type...

Yeah, I think they are soft characters. But, definitly not too-soft. They fight when they think the fight is worth it. I just hope Manav realizes the extent of his mother's brutality (ARRGHHHH)....

I wouldn't say Manav and Archana are too soft there are times they get angry. I remember when Archana got angry at that guy who ripped Manav off with the bangles. Then there is Manav, look how furious he got with that jerk who troubled Archana.
I think the softness is related to their family. Manav and Archana have a great deal of respect for their familes and aren't the type to talk back or make matters worse.

Hmmm, read all your comments. Now if such couple who are too sensitive to each other and when it looks like that their marriage was formed in heaven, I will feel sick if they loose trust on each other with minor incidents, the typical Sony /ZTV type ones. If this Pavitra Rishta becomes a Dirty Rishta for silly reasons, I will stop watching like the 'jhuti bahu'. 👎🏼

Looks like you have or will stop watching after the nonsense that has happened on PR. Very disappointed with the direction the show has taken, I am hoping it doesn't drag too long though. It should go on long enough for Archana and her family to see what fools they've been and to realize what they've lost because of their stubborness and lack of trust.

i don't agree that no one will be able to break trust of each other. Haven't that already been done. Of course they are still early in the relatinship and both are very shy so trust would take a while to build up. But in this case i feel Archu has not used her judgement judiciously.
For instance, when Manav was accused of womanising etc etc, Archu should have realised it is not true. By now she should be aware of Manav's earning capacity and there is no way he can keep up a brothel lifestyle without money. Especially when the accuser had claimed that Manav had paid well to satisfy his lust. Archu should have realised then and there (okay maybe the shock of it she did not think at that time) but she should have realised it a little later that no way Manav could have spent that kind of money - hence the man's claims could be suspcious at the very least - she should have checked further.
Also i felt that Manav made a move to speak to her,, she continued to remain under the mother's influence and did not even attempt to say something like 'let me speak to my husband alone - let me go to the bottom of the story" no she just accepted things at face value.
Basic trust was not there at least based on the facts available to her.
