Moulshree has done many TV and print ads before and some Southern movies as well.
An Indya source says, "She will play Tamana Patil, a middle-class girl who values her family and is ambitious about her career. She is a simple girl who lives in a chawl, but she is smart and ready to work hard to fulfil her dreams." The source adds, "She was selected for the role through auditions and has shot for the promos and started shooting for the coming episodes."
Moulshree joins Karan Wahi, Neha Jhulka and Sehban Azmi as the new interns at the Sanjivani hospital; shooting began on September 7. The show has taken a leap but it hasn't been decided if the earlier interns, who will become doctors, will remain with the show or not. We hear that those who are okay with the leap and are ready to stay on will continue in the show.
