It is the force by which all wrongful things are repelled from us, the sharp prod which spurs the dullards onwards. It keeps our desires under control. 'Amra', the pleasing paisley designs modelled after a mango and is associated with Lord Ganesha. Mangoes are the sweetest of fruits, symbolizing auspiciousness and the happy fulfilment of legitimate worldly desires.
