Hi guys! I was just going through one of the old episodes of MJHT, well basically the older MN scenes, *sighs* and came across this one - before the love potion ad scene, where Nupur is explaining how exactly to enact the scene to Mayank...and I had completely forgotten about this BG music!

I think they've only used it that one time, but IMO it was fantastic! Wonder what the heck happened after that...today's kiss totally put me off, one of the major reasons being the BG music :(

OMG!

Yeah ur right hun, but i've heard tune a lot recently, ya they do play it a little less than before but they've played it soooo many times especially at the time of their confession and during their pool party as well, not sure when, but i remember hearing it.

P.S the scene that u've posted..Nupur is justt sooo hilarious! lol..hhaha

Hi, yes I agree they've added that tune many times, but the version of that tune in this clipping is just a one-time thing I believe....I somehow like this version wayyyy better than the usual one :)

And you're right - I looooved Nupur in this scene!

oh yeah i love this tune... it suits them so well...
now they put the do dil ek jaan music.. which is not soo happening...

Ur right, its a slightly different version than the usual, i simply dislike the "Do dil ek Jaan" Bg, its soo boring!! :(

Whenever they play Do dil Ek Jaan, it reminds me of their date - which I really really want to erase from my memory...but no, they keep playing it until that one part remains etched forever...wth.....

Sigh, any other BG music would have made the scene soo much better - the best option would of course have been Pehla Nasha, from SBS...Anyway, I saw the scene again and I muted it, but played Pehla Nasha in the background....lol....call me vela, or bored but the scene was sooo much better after that....minus the 5 second zoom bit :)

I soooooo agree kainath..i've been playing that scene repeatedly only to hear that music..it was THE BEST! I mean, nothing like it..i don't think they used that version of the song again in any other scene...they did use..but it was a different version..but this one is simply the best! Thanks a ton for giving me this link..hope they use this music on MN more...not the do dil ek jaan music!

I love this tune too!
They have used it after this scene also but yeah, not quite..
The old bg scores used to be so much better.. I cringe whenever the date music comes up. Spoils everything..

Seriously..but Debs, they never used this version of the music again..the one they use now is different..the older bg scores rocked! And seriously, i didn't enjoy the kiss scene mostly because of this horrendous bg score...they should have used this music instead...spoilt the entire passion in the scene..

@Rachna: Yep, they have used slightly different versions ever since..
I know, I so wish the Pehla Nasha music had been on the show just like in SBS. If not the lyrics, only an instrumental version... wud have been infinitely better!
