And yeah, if Karunya fans feel that his performance was better than Amey, then be it. If u r happy with this then what can i say. But if he continues this way, he won't survive long. I am sorry to say this. But I really like Karunya and I was not happy at all with his choice of song. The song is very easy to sing and not at all touching or rocking. I expect more from Karunya. I think he is capable of doing much more.
If still u all think he was good then I dont wish to argue with you.

I liked KArunya's gala performance but I did expect more frm him...i guess we can excuse him coz of the bad throat.

WE as his fans understand the fact tht he had a bad throat n tht affected his performacne- unfortunately the world doesnt care two hoots if he has a bad throat. I remember VAsundhra Das came 4 a concert to Kuwait and unfortunately she had high fever on the day of her show...but she still was forced to perform and ppl judged her performance w/o considering the fact tht she was ill.

In the real world ,excuses lik a bad throat or fever will not forgive a mediocre performance.

And I say mediocre coz by KArunya's standards, his rendition of Chak de was ordinary.

breathing irony, I didn't intend to respond earlier but since you decided to second his thoughts I thought I should clarify my stand.
In the first place, Karunya used to perform on Hyderabad Doordarshan and not Hyderabad Radio. Yes, I did mention that Amey is more experienced b'coz personally I feel that age helps a person in making wise decisions which most of the times even the most experienced young talented people fail in making good decisions and this was a very personal observation and opinion of mine and I'm sure you agree everyone has an opinion of their own.

Secondly, I don't say anything in a confused state and my ploys to gather support for my idol by hook or crook doesn't make any difference as he's got many supporters here in this forum and also outside the forum.

Am I passionate? Yes, I am and every fan is. What kind of a fan it would be that doesn't have any passion? Passion is what makes a fan a FAN. As far as his performance is concerned, we can have a separate debate exclusively b'coz opinions are very subjective in this case. I don't care what people care for as long as I'm convinced about my idol's performance.

Even I can dig 101 such statements made by few members 10 days back or couple of weeks back and start a new controversy or might as well say that some members have determined to create controversy of whatever I write at any cost but I guess we've crossed all those stages and are on the same platform for a good cause and i.e., fight for the right contestant that includes your idol as well.
