my take on karunya and amey

In my opinion both Amey and Karunya are very good singers, each with his own style and voice. The only reason i prefer Karunya is because he's somehow touches me more than Amey and also judges should stop idolising Amey, Amey is older, has more experience, has done stage shows with singers and so this platform is like a cake walk for him. Am not saying thath this should go against him but the judges constant praise all the time is irritating. Am happy Karunya got some criticism since its normal, everyone has to go thru this and no one is perfect all thetime. I remember Abhijeet Sawant was also never the audience first choice in the initial rounds. Anyway lets hope Karunya clears this round.

I so very much agree with you. I mean common, ppl. are watching and I felt Karunya was not as bad as he was being put up by Sonu and Farha. Both are trained classical singers and come from different backgrounds. Karunya is 19 years and Amey is 26 years old. Amey definitely has more experience and II should be cake walk for him. I don't agree with Sonu and Farha when they said he didn't sing well and perform well. Sonu should follow his music instincts and give honest judgements instead of passing on good comments on someone he personally likes the most. IF he keeps doing this then We will have to think what Mallika said- "andar ki baat hai, Sonu bhi tumse jalta hai".

Criticism is good for Karunya. It will only help him groom himself better.

I agree Karunya was not as bad as I thought from the updates and comments. But I do respect judge's comments. Especially Sonu's comments about singing and Farah's comments about performance.

And you cannot compare them on the basis of their age and experience etc. Once they are in competition they all are at same level. It's only their singing and performance that should matter rather than anything else. Being sick should also not be an excuse. At least i think so. Somebody being sick is not others fault. And keeping your vocal cords healthy is also a part of preparation according to me just like doing riyaaz. Even then if you fall sick it's your bad luck but it's definitely not an excuse for bad performance. And I am saying this generally. I am not talking about Karunya.............I think his performance was good today 😊

well karunya was not bad at all...it;s jus' that in the piano round he'd sung so well that somehow i had expected an astonishing performance from him and basically it didn't realy happen but he was still not bad!!! may be the judges felt the same and since they'd high anticipation they jus' might have been a lil disappionted!! but neways plzz vote for him..he has 2 stay!!

Why are all your posts always so negative about Amey and where are all these newbie's coming out from every time just to criticize Amey, I would like the Moderators to take a look if some people are making multiple IP's just to prove his/her point and second it after that.

And btw this is the most stupid thing to say that Sonu Nigam sides a particular singer or he is jealous of someone, the most hilarious thing I have heard in longtime. Even if all the singers put their singing capabilities together they won't come an inch close to Sonu.

And what ***** is this about age, stage experience and cake walk. Do you know how it is to sing in front of 1000 people and singing on TV when millions of people are watching you.

Please don't talk **** Sandeep, Ravi, Karunya all have stage experience so it should be a cake walk for them as well.

And do you want me to remind you about your previous post where you mentioned watching Karunya on doordarshan where he used to sing Carnatic songs or whatever.

Stop taking pot shots at Amey or any other contestant just because you want to have more support for Karunya.

Even I think Karunya is a good singer but he has his limitations as well.

wickedboy, why do you only read criticisms on Amey by me? You seem to be missing those posts where I did mention that Amey is a good singer and will be one of the top 3 or 4. As far as newbies are concerned, I think you should talk to the moderators because I think they have a better answer for your query. If I've taken so much of flak I think I can take more without creating new ids and putting across my point clearly. My views on Sonu are mine and I think at least I have the right to express my views.

i think they both are too over rated

We all have our favs. if the judges fav is Amey like said on the show, then so be it. But the judges are fair, they express what they saw, it doesnt make em right or wrong. And at the end of the day it is the janta who picks anywyaz. And honestly based on pervious incidents what judges say has harldy or no difference on who the people vote for.
If Amey is 7 years older than Karunya, then so be it. But age doesnt matter on the capability of a person. For example Sunidhi Chauhan, she is so young, but she still has taken awards, right under the noses of so many other "older" singers.
Point:Age has nothing do with talent

Oh god! y r ppl after AMey????? Look if u cant find a fault with the guy stop coming up with stupid reasons lik age n being the judges favs etc.....

If he's the judges fav. it's coz he's the oNLY one who deserves to be the judges fav....its not his fault he's miles better thn the others
