How SRK's friends are diversifying

In the modern age of reinventing one's self it is good that actors are investing in alternate businesses.

Many actors from the previous era made money and put the 'eggs in one basket' and got wiped out. They spent a lot, and ultimately died on the streets. An intelligent and very well to do couple, SRK and his wife are venturing beyond just movies, and are into production, studios, animation, special effects, television, cricket, fashion, direction, as a singer, TV host, working in ad films, various programmes in India and abroad, he is also well known for his guest appearances at weddings and parties for the right price etc.

He can be called a goose that lays golden eggs. With his business acumen by the time SRK will want to leave the industry the industry may never leave him. There will always be a part of SRK present in the film as well as the television industry.

Here are some of his friends who have ventured into other business' other than acting.

Arjun Rampal opened his lounge called Lap at Samrat hotel in Delhi recently, the hot lot of Bollywood were there to clink the champagne flutes.

Karan Johar launched his venture into men's fashionwear in collaboration with Varun Bahl. A weaver of magic on screen he has designed for SRK in many of his movies and will certainly make a mark in this field.

Dino Morea's crepe station is not just one but has a dream to open them at multiplexes and has many of them as franchises across India.

Juhi Chawla and her husband at one time were reported to be turning the entire cash flow of Nepal in a year with their ventures, which vary from cricket to real estate.

They are besides being actors now following the true dream that they have always wanted besides being famous actors – cooking, dining, building, creating something that will be far more long lasting than just their movies that are remembered barely for a month or so after its release.
