Hey you guys, I read a very a vey Interesting Article about Ronit Roy at Amir's Khan's Wedding. Appearntly the police was involved.

Here's the link: https://www.expressindia.com/fullstory.php?newsid=60665#comps tory

I am also copying and pasting the interview:

Panchgani, December 30: Day one of the much-hyped wedding reception of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao in Panchgani took an ugly turn on Thursday afternoon, when security personnel guarding his reception venue manhandled the media. Hotel Il Palazzo, where the invitees are staying, was out of bounds with 15-feet tarpaulins covering it.

A battalion of tough looking security personnel and the local police blocked even the road leading to the hotel.

The first action of the day was witnessed at 11:15 am, when a cavalcade of three cars drew up led by a white BMW driven by 'Little Champion' Sachin Tendulkar himself with wife and children following him in the other cars. While they disappeared into the hotel, Aamir Khan, too, apparently had made an entry through the back door.

The next three hours had a line of Balenos, Innovas and Qualis' making their way into the hotel - each with an identity number pasted on the windscreen and dark tinted windows.

Having spent hours waiting patiently, at around 3 pm the media decided to move up to the road leading to the hotel. But as soon as they started moving, the security personnel blocked their way saying it was a private road.

However, when the media representatives corrected them pointing out that it was a public road, the security guards pushed and shoved those who were moving ahead. In the skirmish, a couple of cameras fell down and broke, while a cameraman sustained minor injuries. Even the local people were prevented from using the road. Immediately an FIR was lodged at the local police station demanding both Aamir Khan and television star Ronit Roy, who owns the Ace Security deployed at the hill station for the function, apologise publicly. But it was only late in the evening that Roy came to the police station and profusely apologised to the media and also read out an apology on behalf of Aamir. Roy said Aamir had said it was not their intention to obstruct the media from carrying out its work and had assured them that such an incident will not take place again. He also added that they had fired the two guards responsible for manhandling the media representatives. Meanwhile, the reception preparations were on full swing with Thursday's reception supposed to take place at Meherbai House, just across Il Palazzo. Besides Il Palazzo, Ravine, Mountain View and Basilica too were booked only for Aamir's guests. These hotels had also asked other guests to vacate the rooms by Thursday. In fact, a notice outside Palazzo clearly says that it is out of bounds for public for the next few days. Mapro owner Mayur Vohra, who is one of the few local persons invited for one of the three receptions - on December 29, 30 and 31 - said each day will have a different guest list. "Aamir's association with Panchgani goes back to when he was eight and broke his hand here, while shooting for Caravan. He calls this place his favourite in the world," Vohra, who along with Il Palazzo owner Kobhat Davierwalla is a close friend of the actor, said.

Though none of the locals will be a part of the festivities, some of them like Zoher Abduallah Unwalla have put up banners wishing 'Mr and Mrs Aamir Khan A Happy Married Life'.
