Episode No 20 Friday 4/9/09

Starts with Sakku sharing a gossip with hubby. Bhaskar is
not very keen but Sakku sulks and he succumbs. Sakku
says that she "chanced" seeing the inside of Shanky - Nandy
bedroom -" they sleep separately !!! saw a bed on the floor!!"
Bhaskar is not keen about getting in to his brother's bed room
but Sakku knows where to hit -" unga thambi life le ungalukku
interest illiya?" So, he goes and asks Shanky. Shanky laughs
and says "athu vera vishayam.." Brothers laugh - in relief.
Kalyani asks Nandy to light the pooja lamp and Nandy agrees.
Sakku comes there and asks Nandy to stop that - Kalyani is surprised
and Sakku explains - " she has her periods....ippo how to light the
lamp?" Kalyani asks Nandy and Nandy says that she does not
have her periods. Sakku is Mangalam's daughter apdi nnu attagasama
proove panra - semai interjection - "nee Shanky ai pidichi thaane
kalyanam panninde??" Nandy is in a fix...Kalyani tries to dilute the
situation but Shanky wants to know the answer for Sakku's query -
" anni kekkarathu sarithaane?? enna thappu?"

Nandy is drying clothes on the terrace. Kalayani comes there and has
a talk with DIL - Nandy cries and Kalyani consoles - " You should not
get scared of such situations. You should boldly face them ..." Nandy says
that she is very upset about hiding things from Shanky - " for the past
four days, I have been avoiding him. On the first night , we just talked.
Next morning..this baby issue..and u want to keep it a secret... I am not
able to go near him... kind of guilty...." Kalayani says that Nandy should
never have done that -" leave every thing to me...this baby thing... I am
investigating..not sure who did that..my enemies??? some one who does
not like u??...I will take care, ok?? be happy" Leaves for the hospital.

Sakku, Bhaskar and Shanky in a restaurant. Sakku does the veppilai
adikkara act - " me and your brother..we have our own differences
of opinions but we follow give and take policy ( oh yes we know,
it is your hubby who always gives😳) But we never lie to each other.."
Hubby tries to defend Nandy but Shanky wants anni to go on -
" let her talk it out... she is telling me all this only because she is
interested in my happiness" ( enna Srikumar..another Uravugal
character aa?? goody goody fellow??) Sakku goes on muted
talk - possibly linking Nandy and her BIL - Shanky is confused...
disturbed... Sakku oru innocent face sport pannindu nalla key
kudukkaraa !!!

Sakku calls mommy and says that she executed mommy's plans
to the letter T - " nee solli kudutha mathiri nalla doopam pottu
vittutten.... Shanky kku santhegam started..." Mangalam mommy
is overjoyed " yen thanga me nee thaan da amma ponnu.." - tells
darling daughter that from now on the ball is in her court -" na
enge patha vaikkanumO ange patha vaikkaren.." sports a grin
which says "habba daa adutha 6 varusham izhukka matter
kidaichachu.."

Friday Episode No 24 11/9/09

Jeya probing Nandy - "look at my face and tell me... Sumathi is
the only reason??" Nandy looks dull - amma di kozhanthai,
appo appo konjam expression kaattalaam, thappu illai, ok?? -
Has visions of Kalayani asking her to be careful " unga akka
and BIL kitte onnum sollathey.." - so tells Jeya that she just feels
guilty about "stealing" Suma's life. Jeya and Gopal are convinced.
Then Jeya asks Gopal to apply for leave -" 2 days leave pottu ttu
Kumbakonam pOi navagraha Temples ellam paarthu ttu varaalam"
Gopa agrees but Nandy vetoes - "Prathyaksha deivam enga athai
thaan !!! apra enakku yethukku navagraha darisanam???( appo, Kalyani
enna graham??? Rojaaaaaaaaaa, shut up ) I want to go back to
my athai..." Jeya agrees.

A police inspector comes to meet Kalyani. Informs her that AC has
asked her to deal with the case. " unga case en kitte thaan irukku.
Paper boy paper podum pothu early morning 5 am , appo baby ange
illai. Apram when he returned only , the baby was left there.Both
the paper boy and the milkman have seen an old ambassdor car.
Also they have seen some one going in to your house with a baby.
They can not recall any thing more - because you are a doctor and
patients walking in is a common sight.." Kalyani says that she wants
this case solved - asap - " my family's honor and a girl's life depend
on this ...so please be quick.." The inspector says that she needs the
letter - " we can send it for finger printing and hand writing analysis.."
Kalyani says that even her family members have no idea of that letter.
"and me and my DIL Nandy also touched it !!!" Inspector says that they
can rule out those two prints. Kalayani says that she will try to give
the letter - " I will talk to your AC about this, ok??" Inspector leaves.

Mangalam and Annamma cootchi cooing. Mangalam calls Annamma and
probes - Annamma is thrilled to hear Managalam's voice . Mangalam drips
honey and milk in her voice - " Nandy thaniya unga veetukku vanthutta.. enna
news??" Annamma says that she does not know any thing - "neither my son
nor my DIL tell me any thing !!! ellarum in camera discussion nadatharaanga..
To tell u the truth, I was shocked to see Nandy coming here alone .. I asked for
the reason and no one gave me any info.." Mangalam pours some more
honey and milk - " we both are sailing in the same boat. Unga ponnu irukka
vendiya edam..yarukkO pOchu...yen pOnnu ange irukka..Nandy vantha apram
Kalyani yen ponnai mathikkarathe illai....athaan..Also, intha Nandy vishyathile
yetho oru marmam irukku" Annamma parts with an important info " ohhh
athu thaan Nandy moottai yai katti kittu thirumbi pOitaala??" Mangalam is
happy that she managed to get some info...promises to keep in touch,
disconnects and then says " intha Nandy vishayam vaichu Kalyani veet le
seyya velai neriya irukku"

Sai Kalyani at home - visions of telling Nandy not to divulge any info...
Bingo...Nandy at the threshold...Kalyani is shocked ( why?? why this
shock??? Nandy enna peya ,pisasaa??)
