Anandi's parents no better!

i know we are blaming dadisa but arent anandi's parents responsible too for what's happenning with her? ok they got her married when she was pretty young as thats what everyone does in that area. but sending her to her in-laws when she was too young thats not what everyone does. as soon as they felt there is a crisis in their lives instead of dealing with it they sent her packing to her inlaws and escaped their responsibility.
anandi unlike other girls wasnt trained in housework or duties of a beendni. hence she had to learn it the hard way from dadisa. even later when they realized she is making mistakes they extracted vague promises from her and sent her back to the hell house instead of teaching her something abt life.
and now for their land they again go to anandi's inlaws...plead and cry in front of her inspite of facing insults the last time dadisa thought they had borrowed money from bhairon. didnt they know better?
im sure even now when they come to know what happenned they will plead with dadisa and send her back again leaving anandi confused between what's right and wrong!

That is the reason why child marriage should never take place! Anandi is too small to understand all this. How can they possibly think of sending her away from her sasuraal back to her maayka and from her maayka back to her sasuraal. It's too painful for the poor girl.

I agree wit Shreyas....Though dadisa is completely inhuman...her parents have also acted selfishly in many situtaions....starting from marrying her off...to her gauna....to begging in front of dadisa for help....I think they could have acted with more courage and selflessly.

I completely agree with you guys and i would also like to add that... even if whatever their parents did was right they should have never been to dadisa to beg for help..... they didnt ask for help they actually beg it...... and when dadisa said no, the mom made a so big scene that the poor child who still cares a lot about her parents and doesnt really understand the difference between mayka and sasural obviously want her parents to be happy and wanna help them in their trouble. everything she does has always been more for her parents and their izaat than actually for the sasural people.....by making a so big scene her mom troubled her in lots of ways and distroyed the so called her sasural life.....and now this is not the worse..........i m sure they'll put all the blame on her and make sure she goes back to her sasural and suffer even more..... i ask what type of parents are they huh...........what type of parents would want their child to suffer for their own izaat, say their own benefit.......the poor child doesn't even know what is going on with her .......she can't and does not know the difference between good, bad, right or wrong.......you know i live in an industrialized country and even down here there are lots of things really bad and insane that happens.........the other day i saw a little kid of less then 4 years old wearing the hijab........i also heard of a stupid family doing some insane home surgery on their little child, who was attending kindigarden......they actually sewed the vagina of their kid for some stupid and idiotic religious and culturelle reasons.........i am just so shoked and frustrated that i just cant express it.........there are really extrememly insane people in this world........and i ask if you can't take care of a child ............WHY HAVING ONE...............first they get married because of samaj.......then have one baby...........because of samaj...........then more............because of samaj.............they can't feed them properly.........but they are having even more babies............because of samaj again............WHY DO WE HAVE TO LIVE FOR SAMAJ..............when you die is samaj going to suffer for your crimes............when you are in trouble.........is samaj going to help you................they even give you some more gali........when youare happy is samaj going to be happy for you as well.............no!!!!!!! they'll even curse your happinness.....that's the way it is ........and THAT'S THE WAY IT'LL ALWAYS BE...........................WE SHOULD LIVE FOR OURSELVES AND FOR OUR FAMILY AND THEIR HAPPINESS...........WE SHOULD DO THINGS BECAUSE WE THINK AND KNOW THAT THOSE THINGS ARE RIGHT AND NOT BECAUSE SAMAJ WANTS THAT TO BE THAT WAY.........JAB KOI KAIYED HOTA HAI TOH WOH AZAAD HONA CHAHTA HAIN............MAGAR JAB LOGHE AZAAD HOTE HAIN TOH WOH BANDY HONE KE PEECHE KYUN BAGHTE HAIN............KIYA AZAADY PYAARI NAHIN HAIN!!!!!!!!

yes i agree with u. i m really feeling very bad for anandi. i hate to c her cry. basically the whole system of child marriage is responsible for all this. anandi's parents are also equally at fault. many of us here hate daadisa but come to think of it guys. in india almost 40% people are like daadisa who want to supress their beendnis and no matter how much at fault their sons are its always the beendni who gets blamed for no reason at all. All the anger is taken out on the bahu even if she has no hand in it. So we can say that daadisa is just a representative of those many 1000's of saas who treat their bahus in an inhuman way. Through this she just wants to make those 40% people aware of what they are doing is wrong. So hating daadisa will obviously be of no use. the whole child marraige concept has to be tackled and ripped off from the very root.

now that anandi has been kicked out and her parents have realized she has been given too big a punishment i hope they are atleast shown to realize that they made a mistake by getting her married so early. thats the least the makers can do. i really do not expect them to show dadisa realizing the folly of her ways.
