Ok I just saw Vishal Bharadwaj on Picture This and I don't think he was criticizing her at all. He said that she was really good in the film, but the role of Geet was sort of tailor made for that sort of performance. He said that geet is very easy to fall in love with.

And Shahid had a role that wasn't written in the same manner. So it needed the actor to inject something more into it. Interestingly, he said that he decided on Shahid for Kaminey after watching JWM since he liked his performance.

As for that particular Kareena statement, I am not sure how true it really is.

I doubt kareena said that but nice things on shahid as for saifeena they do not need to work with every director that gave them a film.
