A person is a product of his/her environment...Maulik is doing what he sees people around him doing all the time, be it Motiben or Hiten or even Kaddu (not lately but used to), he just doesn't know any better...plus he is conceited enough to think that being DM's son gives him the right to treat people anyway he wants to.

actually i noticed Hiten only pushes boundaries with his Dad no other adult. but he doesnt call them by tum, he is just very expressive about his oppinion. I am there is past misunderstanding with his dad that makes him not to recpect him.

Yeah, maybe there was a misunderstanding but that hasn't been shown or explained yet, so who knows...maybe when and if they show that, then his attitude will make sense because right now he just seems unnecessarily rude and disrespectful and resentful for no reason especially since the other kids don't seem to share his resentment....and opinions can be expressed without being rude and disrespectful.

true opinion can be expressed without being rude but you have to admit DM attitude doesnt help in Hitens reaction. he kinds of loose it him self and get Hiten going as well. childrens learns from thire parents obiusely in HitensUnconsciously reacting how his father react to him.
i dont think Hiten is right to talk like that to his fatheer but he i feel has solid reason.

I see no reason for Hiten to be rude and disrespectful to his father and until and if the reason is explained, I will continue to feel his disrespect and resentment is uncalled for. And DM doesn't talk to Hiten any different that a lot of fathers do to their kids, thats no reason for him to be rude. Just because my father orders me to do something that I might not want to do or points out my mistakes that I might not like or doesn't always give me what I want, does not mean I would be rude and disrespectful to him...DM is after all Hiten's father, not the other way round. And given Hiten's behavior, a lot of fathers would react a lot stronger than DM does...which father would tolerate his kids being disrespectful to him? And for some reason Hiten can even find fault when DM is doing or saying something nice to him, for instance when DM told him that he would get him married to Khemi once he was back from Antwerp, he still found fault with that and was rude to him, whats up with that.

I think Hiten has too much time in his hands and thats why he is always brooding and moping, he needs to fill his time by doing something constructive...he should either get a job or start taking an interest in business like Maulik or even start actively looking for Khemi since she is still missing...anything to occupy his time.
