What's Your Raashee? Songs 'Wow' The Media!

The industry is getting more and more stylish by the day, and one person to be innovative each time is Ashutosh Gowariker. For Jodhaa Akbar, he had kept an event for the media to showcase the film's trailer which then started a trend of similar events for other films and this time to unveil music of his upcoming film 'What's Your Raashee?' he showcased all thirteen full songs of the film on the big screen for all media in Mumbai. The music was then officially launched by producers Ronnie Screwvala and Sunita Gowariker, director Ashutosh Gowariker, music director Sohail Sen and the two stars of the film, Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra. Although the film has Priyanka playing twelve different characters, each from a different raashee, the songs showcased the fact that the film is essentially the story of Yogesh Patel and his dilemma of having to select the right girl for marriage, while being given very limited time to choose. Hence dispelling all myths that the film gave more importance to Priyanka, each song features Harman prominently as well and the media on one occasion burst into applause in the middle of the song seeing Harman's dance moves and during another song laced with humour, couldn't stop laughing at his funny lines. Priyanka stunned all with her varied performance for each of the girls in each of the songs and Harman came across as being extremely affable as Yogesh Patel.

Harman and Priyanka also happily posed together for the shutterbugs proving to all around that there was no unpleasantness between the two of them and they seemed quite comfortable in each other's company.
The songs are catchy, melodious and remained in our minds much post the screening. By the looks of it, we do feel Ashutosh is definitely scoring already with the audience and What's Your Raashee? is quickly becoming one of the most awaited films this year.
