Dear Friends,
As it is the story is moving in snail pace now but nevertheless today there was some activity which has inspired me to write 'do baatein' ...aaj ki do baatein...
1) Ranvijay cannot wait to carry out the punishment, he still cannot accept the fact that his brother is the chosen on to carry the lineage of the family, like siblings of today, he is jealous of his own brother and is failing to see the discomfort & unwillingness of Shekhar, so blind is the jealousy....agar hum nehi ban sakte do something through whichShekhar should also not become a father, but cut fingers have very little to do with producing babies..
2) I loved the scene where Shekhar comes and saves Laali's fingers from being cut, very filmy but very nice, specially I loved it where Laali is in a trans admiring Shekhar and he has no clue to her thoughts, he is plain disgusted seeing his brother's behaviour and upset over his lost freedom. The mixing of blood was again filmy but nice, chalega nehi daurega.....😛
Jate Jate, I was finding the Thakurain a bit slow, not doing enough to stop the cruelty to Laali, not shouting enough, not pleading enough etc but in the end I loved the way she blackmailed Ranvijay to step back and the way she was upset to see laali's blood and asking her silently to come was commendable. To be very frank at times I love the usage of eyes and minimum dialogues, they convey more than said dialogues, it is fun to watch and actors with calibre of Rupa and Ratan, these should be used more...
last but not the least, Shekhar is upset over his lost freedom, he is shouting at his mother and informing her about his mental state, I think as a mother Kaushalya understands as she is no better off then Shekhar, her husband, the status and social standing all binds her to the Haveli, even not wanting so many things, she has to bear them, her condition is like Laali if not worse. I would now want to see Laali and Shekhar getting to know each other, laali is already overwhelmed with Shekhar's gesture and Shekhar abhi tak bahut mundi hilayi in negation of his want for a rakhail, now he knows he cannot escape so should make best use of the given situation, hume bhi thora romance dekhne ko mile before Ganesiya makes his entry....your thoughts friends, love Tin
