At 43, Salman Khan still gets beaten up by mom!

"As a child, Salman was very naughty He used to get the most beating...still does," Salma told choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan on her soon-to-be-launched celebrity chat show "Tere Mere Beach Mein" going on air on STAR Plus Sunday.

When Farah asked "Is it just a pat?", Salman, who was the first celebrity guest for the show, said: "Are you mad or what? It comes as such a phatak (tight slap)...I reel under its heavy impact and wonder where it came from! I tell her that how can you beat me mamma, I'm a grown up man now."

Some of the actor's best kept secrets were also unravelled on the show. For instance, she revealed that she still stays up waiting for him at the window till he returns home. Salma said that all her kids tease her for this habit.

"They say that the building doesn't need a watchman with me keeping guard all night," she said.

Whats the big deal in this !! Every caring mother does this for her son or daughter !! Moms forget that their childrens have grown up now and have their own lives !! 😕

i find it rly annoying how my dad does this, when i'm out i am out, i don't want 20 sms's and 10 voice mails ARGH

he knows what time i get home too, and the following morning he asks "what time did you get home?"

and i would be like "think it was 1:30 ish not sure" then he says "NOOOO YOU LIE IT WAS 3:14 AND 42 SECONDS" like srsly!! why ask if he knows already LOL..

oh and he has to ask how many drinks i had and i'd be like think it was 2..and he'd be like suuureee UFFFFFFFF i am 21 not doodh peeti BACHCHI..

^Same here.

If I go out to Dinner with my friends,I tell my parents to relax and that I'll be back fine but they always stay up and wait for me and if it's a lil late than 11pm which is the deadline I start getting calls like in every 1 minute.

But that's their love for us.We'd probably behave the same way when we are in their place!

my dad is in denial, he thinks i am still 10.. he even holds my hands when crossing the road hahahaha not kidding

its not like i'd walk straight into an incoming traffic.. LOL

No offence Rhea 6 Dear this is exactly what I mean to say that we are grown ups now and we have our own lives !! If someone get a phone call every minute that means either they donot trust us or so over protective !! Hitting Salman at the age of 45 by her mom is beyond thinking !! Some parents acting like this forces their children to lie because they get scared and are not allowed out with their friends ever again !! I do understand this is an article cos they are film stars when some people just say that this is not true but media stunt !! 😕

Its not a BIG deal but what makes it sooo sweet is that we thinkt hat these celebrities ar enot normal people but no so normal lifes but end of the day the re are few families who keep a check on their kids and still lives like middle class families....

I have always believed that Salman is a very very good son. Thats makes him a good person. He respects his family. And its so sweet to see that even though he is a big man his mom still think of him as a child..I think she is a very good mom.

His mom is not the normal celebrity mom... we never see her in public eye....

I am looking forward to this episode and also the one with Shahid...
