Robert Pattinson and the Hollywood rumor mill
If the media is known for anything, it's taking things out of context and twisting people's words around.
That's exactly what happened yesterday when reports about Robert Pattinson's love life started circulating.
Reports began circulating early Thursday about comments that Jennie Garth, wife of Rob's Twilight co-star, Peter Facinelli, supposedly made regarding the young star's love life.
Garth was at a Save the Children event hosted by TJ Maxx when she "spoke" about Rob's romantic status. Several different versions of Garth's story went around, including one that Rob was dating a Twilight co-star, that he was dating either Nikki Reed or Kristen Stewart, and that he was dating somebody from the set of the film.
At the end of the day, however, Facinelli set fans straight with a message from his Twitter page:
"Complete media fabrication. I read the transcript of what my wife actually said, which was, 'My husband talks to me about Twilight stuff, but I promised him I wouldn't talk about it.' Somehow that got turned into this."
He then went on to voice his opinion about the situation:
"It's unbelievable how the media can just write whatever they want to sell papers. Perez, love ya, but check your resources before u blog buddy."
Leave it to Peter to clear up the mess!
Perhaps we should let Rob tend to his personal business from now on!
