I dont think so Gatyatri will turn negitive. Yes, she will give some hard time to Akshara in the beginning, just with her looks. She does not have to speaking anything to hurt Askhara or scare her, her looks are enough. But as she will learn more about Akshara and how gem of a person she is, I am sure Gayatri will get rid of her jealousy or possessiveness and might actually get fond of her.
After all, she was the one most excited about getting her bahu. She is just not use to sharing her son with someone else. She has always had 100% control over Naitik. What he wears, eats, drink, etc etc. But as she gets use to Akshara being around, things will get much better. I hope she behaves nicely with Akshara. She will have to be nice to Akshara, as her happiness lies with her son's happiness and her son's happiness lies with Akshara.
