Cover Girls Gone Wrong
These Bollywood beauties look stunning in their enviable designer outfits on fashion and men's magazines. However, some of the real-life public appearances are a far cry from the gorgeous covers that they make. Take a look.

Kareena Kapoor: She looks oh-so-seductive and drool-worthy in jeans and a knotted shirt on FHM. At a KI event, she looks lovely but the less said about the bleached shredded jeans and boring colours, the better.


Katrina Kaif: The former supermodel has what it takes to make magazines that she graces, sell like hot cakes. However, at the success party for New York, her look is mismatched. The dress is nice but the boots and jacket don't match at all. Would someone please tell her she is in Mumbai, not New York!

Deepika Padukone: The mother of all-ironies! Deepika looks like a romantic dream on Vogue but did she attend the Vogue launch on her way to a tennis match? The torn jeans and shoes look ugly and so inappropriate for the magazine launch. Wish she had consulted stylist Anaita for the event too.


Sonam Kapoor: Sonam Kapoor is an unmatched style icon. She looks like a supermodel on the cover of Harper's Bazaar but at the New York premiere of Delhi-6, it seems as if she suffered a water cut and wasn't able to wash the oil off her long tresses. And she looks tired!

Shilpa Shetty: Her dangerous curves make men weak in the knees. She flaunted them to perfection on the cover of Vogue but we were blinded by her over-the-top 'golden' appearance at a Rajasthan Royals party.Was she trying to look like an IPL trophy? Mebbe!

Ah well, I agree...

1. Kareena looks like a boho-chic gone to Jhumri-tallaiya in that get-up. Very wannabe, very uncool.

2. Kat, what is wrong with you? Who teams a jacket and those boots with a dress in that colour? Even non-fashionistas would know. Some colour sense, dahling?

3. Deepika. With that figure, that height, that face and stardom, why do you have to dress like a sportsman on the run for more than half the events that you attend? Look like a woman, feel like a woman ...anfd nah, no tomboy feminity happening for you , mah lady.

4. Shona baby. All the makings of a regal supermodel and you really can't match her in her chameleon like avatars and those gorgeous poses and pictures are to die for. But this Egyptian Stunner tends to go wrong with her lustrous glory...rarely her clothes. Darling, oil your hair behind curtains only...

5. Shilpa Shetty. Well, the woman is stunning...gorgeous and has a body that is the benchmark in fitness and shapely feminine bodies... but she never was a style icon....her clothes have never been great and she has never been known for her style....She is a beautiful diva and it is better if we close our eyse to that eye sore gold dress. Ugh,

I never actually what sonam kapoor wears outside of her movies. what she wore at the IIFA awards was very questionable..evryone else...i don't know what went wrong with thier fashion sense at that time..

agree with what u said, right on mark, but i must disagree with Sonam, she can dress outside films as well...a few appearences are forgivable no? but the rest of the girls usually fail us when they show up at events.
