Many Bollywood stars would be in the US for India's Independence Day celebrations

It could have been a treat to see Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif sharing the same stage, but unfortunately it's not happening. If SRK will woo the audience on 15th August, Katrina will greet her fans on 16th August and all this is a part of a two-day, extravagant fun-fair in Chicago to celebrate India's Independence Day.

Come 15th August, some of the A-list Bollywood celebs will be in the US instead of India to grace the event named, South Asian Carnival. The carnival will see the King Khan, the vivacious Bipasha Basu, the demure Diya Mirza and 'Bad man' Gulshan Grover mingling with the crowd on August 15. On the next day, audience can meet Bollywood's hot couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor along with Katrina.

The ever-growing Indian community in Chicago is crazy about Bollywood stars so the South Asian carnival has been conceptualized on the lines of Zee TV's carnival held last year in London, claim the organizers of the show. The Rosemont Convention Centre, chosen place for the carnival in Chicago, will witness a lot of hustle bustle on August 15 and 16.

Not only can people see their favourite stars, they can get their autographs and pictures too. The pompous, grand carnival will also have non-stop musical entertainment and performances by various performers and singers for eight hours on both days.

Definitely it's going to be big!
