Says a distraught Veena Tandon, "My male domestic help, Ramu, dog has been taking Rambo for a walk on Juhu beach for the last couple of years. He has been with us ever since he was 15 days old and he's like family.
Every day around 9 am he would go for his walk. But Ramu has found interest in martial arts and recently he would hang around with a few youths practicing the arts while Rambo would gambol around.

When it was time for him to go home Ramu looked around Rambo and those two youths had disappeared. When they didn't return till 10.30 I got worried and went to the beach myself where Ramu told me what happened."
This has happened earlier
I have lost a couple of dogs like this," says Mrs Tandon. "These jhopadpatti boys pick up dogs from the beach and sell them off. It's terrible. I have filed a case at the Juhu police station." Rambo's look What does he look like? "Rambo's black with a long white patch on his chest and has white paws which look like gloves. He doesn't wear a collar or leash. Since Rambo used to carry his leash in his mouth I stopped putting it on his neck." Please return him
Veena says, "Rambo doesn't eat everything and is very fussy about food. So if people why buy him don't know this, he will starve and die. Since yesterday we have been showing his photographs to the people on the beach and asking around. It's better they return him to us. If anyone sees Rambo please, please, please return him to us…He's like our child," she breaks down. The reward
Mrs Tandon says, "If anyone returns Rambo to us we will be most grateful and I will give that person Rs 5000 as a reward. Rambo only responds to his name so the moment someone calls him Rambo he will go to that person. That's how one can identify Rambo apart from his looks."
