Indian Idol 2 Update 16/1/06

Welcome to the first Gala Round of Indian Idol 2. All the 12 contestants are excited and poeple are cheering them. Among the Hosts only Minnie is present. Our celebrity guest is Mallika Sherawat. Her advice to the contestants : Have confidence on yourself and present your talent properly.

Presentation:

At first all the 12 contestants perform a song composed by Anu Malika . this song is actually introductions of all the contestants.

In this connection, I tell you that today only male contestants will contest.

1. Panna: he sings " Jhalak dikh la ja, ekbaar aja aja".

Anu: it's very good and one sher.

Farha: You look like a filmy hero.

Sonu: you sang well and your performance was like any international star.

Mallika: AAp ko sun ke Sonu Nigam bhi jalta hoga.

2. Ravi: " Tujhe dekh dekh sona".

Anu: you have proved that you one has courage he suceeds.

Sonu: good choice of song, sur was right and you have put good feelings on it.

Farha: in the antara I was shivering with emotions.

Mallika: AAp ki awaz par fida hai hum.

3. Saagar: " chhote chhote shehron mein".

Anu:one sher praising him.

Farha: you have not opened yourself fully.

Sonu: this is the best performance of all your performances.

Mallika: you are yound and i will cheer for young talent.

4. Amey: " Juda ho ke bhi tu mejhme kahin baki hai".

Anu: the song was in a low tone and your song flawless.

Farha: very good.

Sonu: I know your talent. your subtle works in the song are great.

Mallika: one sher praising him.

5. Sandeep: " Janam dekh lo meet gayi dooriyan".

Sonu: It was a low peech song and you tried to sing it well. somewhere it was not good but overall your voice is very sweet.

Farha: your performance improved 50 times than before.

Anu: you sang well and your song wakes up the sleeping audience.

Mallika: wonderful performance.

6. Karuniya:" Chak de saare gham".

Sonu: it was not a preper choice of song .

Farha: it was a low performance.

Anu: i do not agree with them. you sang very well in spite of having a choked voice.

Mallika: i liked your performance, voice and everything.

So that was the first gala round. Now start voting for your favs. tomorrow see you with results. Cionara.😃

Well . for me this is the rating.
1. Amey: he sang perfectly and 10/10.
2. Panna: his performance was superb and song was also ok. so 9/10.
3.Karuniya: although sonu and farha did not praise him i liked his song and performance. may be he was not real Karuniya today but he can get 8/10.
4.Ravi: he will get 7/10 from me.
5..Sagaar: his song lacked energy a bit. so i will give him 6/10.
6. Sandeep: he could not sing the lower notes well.So he gets 5/10 from me.

Only for the first GALA round, it is separate for girls and boys. Maybe b'coz it's difficult to fit all 12 performances in 1 hour episode. But 2nd GALA onwards it will be together and either a girl or a boy will get eliminated.
