Doctor draws Jaya aside and tells her that her son Shankar
likes Nandhini - 'these days the bride changes even in the
kalyana medai... so think about it. If you think calmly, then you
will know that there is nothing wrong. Give us a positive answer.."
Goes to Sumathy's mom and tells her that Jaya has been briefed.
"please consult and let us know, bye bye.." The groom's side
leaves. Sumathi's mom frets and asks Jaya -"what did they say???"
Jaya spills - vision of Kalyani telling Jaya "my son likes Nandhini"
All hell breaks loose. Amma explodes. Starts accusing Jaya - "how
dare they come to see one girl and ask for another?? how did u even
allow them to get out of this house with out confronting?? " Jaya says
that she was stunned hearing that and did not know how to react.

Mommy's cursing drama - curses Jaya and her sister Nandhini -
" I know I know, I know. You planned it all along. You made sure to
parade your sister in front of them and spoiled Sumathy's chance.
Periya edam illiya. athaan..." Both Jaya and Nandhini plead innocence
but mommy goes on to curse -" enga veetu uppai sappittu engalukke
dhrogam??? " goes on and on. jaya and Nandhini cry. Sumathi feels
bad about the rejection but is sane and practical - tells mommy that
they should only be happy that Nandhini found a good match. Gopal
also says that there is nothing wrong in this. "we will sure find a good
match for Sumathi. Now that we have a good alliance for Nandhini,
we should only be happy/" Sumathi consoles a crying Nandhini.

Devraj at home - chides his wife for her action. " when we go and see
a girl, we either say yes or no. You can't point another girl in that house
and ask for her hand???!!!" Kalyani keeps quiet. Pavithra speaks up -
" these days every one has the clarity to think objectively. There is nothing
wrong. Annan is impressed by Nandhini and so whats wrong?" Devraj
says that she wont understand such intricacies and asks his wife as to
how she could voice Shankar's choice. Kalyani says that Shankar has
not asked for any thing so far and she could not refuse his wish. Shankar
now says that they have not committed a crime -" we have expressed our
desire. Now the ball is in their court. No one can force them to do what
they do not like !""

Kalyani at the hospital. Sees a patient who wants to know the sex
of her unborn child/ Kalyani says that they can not disclose. After
that lady leaves, Nandhini comes inside. Kalyani welcomes her and
wants to know if every thing is ok. Nandhini says that there is problem
at home. " your son wanting to marry me has irked my akka's MIL. I have
been living under their roof for so long and Sumathy is a good friend.
I can not be a traitor to that family." Kalyani says "not just Shanakr, all
of us like you and would love to have you as our DIL. You do not have to
decide in a hurry, take your time..." But Nandhini says that she has made
up her mind -"try and convince your son to marry Sumathi. I leave here
in the hope that you will not spoil my friendship with Sumathi" Kalyani
is skeptical.

Gopal and Jaya - Gopal tells Jaya that he is happy - " we should be
happy that Nandhini gets a nice alliance." Jaya says that she can
not accept -"athai is already very angry with the turn of events. And
if she knows that we accept this, she would be livid." Gopal says that
Nandhini will marry Shankar -" i do not think that any of us can stop it.
Looks like it is God's will!!" Leaves a pensive Jaya " Nandhini kku
nallathaa?" Well, the villain enters - do not know his real or reel name -
has Nandhini's photo and vows -" she is in Chennai, I will sure find her
and marry her..."

Saku asks Gopal & Jeya if they have brought Nandhini's (Nandy) horoscope .. Kalyani replies her that it's not needed , as mana porutham is there .. Also firmly says , Shanky is the groom & Nandy is the bride ... Saku says they need it atleast to fix the wedding date .. Kalyani tells her that they'll send it later .. Jeya interrupts , says she has it & gives it to Kalyani .. She in turn passes it to Saku .. Mr. & Mrs. Gopal take leave ... Saku is happy & stares the horoscope .. Baskr follows her 😆 ... Kalyani gives a worried look & leaves for work ...

T.P.Gajendran (character name is not yet revealed folks😛) watches the "Kanaa kandenadi " song in tv & enjoys it with closed eyes ... Hears his wife (actress Nalini) calling him "Ennanga" with a shy & mangalakaramana face 😆 ... He then opens his eyes only to find his wife standing with an angry face 🤣 🤣 🤣... Asks him if he is dreaming .. He replies that he was imagining her as "Parthiban Kanavu-Sneha" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ... She further shouts at him , asks if he is done with all works , paying electricity bill , blah blah .. Asks if he went to farm house & he innocently replies "form vaangiyachu" 🤣🤣🤣 .... She then asks his in tamil , if he went to pannai veedu ... He replies workers will take care of things there ... She doesn't spare him , adds , he needs to go there to mechufy them , as she mechufies him [😡 nalla mariyathai .. no wonder Baskar following Saku's mundhanai 😳😆] ... Also says Ayyo ayyo & pities herself 😆 [Good acting by Nalini , exp actress illa 😉.. Reminds me of her acting in the movie "London"] .. Saku arrives , calls "mummy" & She hugs her , konjufies her daughter .. Saku asks why she always scolds her dad ... Saku's dad asks if any problem at her in laws home ... Wife scolds him , says , daughter has come to see mother .. And both move to dining area .. Saku's dad says they "Ennamo Sathi" & continues to watch tv 😆 ... Saku's mom asks if any vishesham at "Dr.Sai kalyani MD D.G.G.O" 's residence [the way she said that was strange .. looks like she doesn't like Kalyani😕] ... Saku informs her mother abt everything , right from Shanky's ponnu parkara function till Nandy's family agreeing for the marriage .. Saku further says she doesn't like this proposal .. Her mom says not to worry , as Nandy won't he a problem to her as she is from a poor family .. Saku share her views , says ,Kalyani urugufies for Nandy now itself & worries how much love she'll shower on Nandy after marriage .. Mom agrees with her .. Saku also says she is planning as how to spoil this wedding .. Mommy too wonder how .. Saku further says , she has got Nandy's horoscope .. Mommy's face brightens , konjufies her daughter & adds that she has proved , she is her daughter .. And explains some plan in mute [Saku appa sariyaa thaan sonnaru 😉😆] ...

Nandy & Sumathi (Suma) are making a jasmine garland .. Gopal & Jeya come home .. Suma asks what happened .. Suma's mom comes out from room & morachufies Jeya .. And she leaves from there .. Gopal informs Suma that they are very frank & they didn't need any seer varisai .. Nandy is all shy .. Suma's mom fumes seeing her 😆 .. Suma teases Nandy & asks what did Shanky say .. Gopal replies that Shanky was not home .. Nandy with a worried face , asks "Avar illaiyaa" 😳😆😆 ... Suma teases her some more , asks "Evaru" .. Gopal is all happy & says he has got Shanky's contact no.s too .. Suma grabs the phone & starts to dial .. Nandy says vendam vendam .. Suma orders her that she must talk to Shanky infront of them .. Suma calls & Nandy runs away .. Gopal grabs the phone & chides Suma , says not to tease her more .. Suma runs behind her .. Gopal sees his mom & she fumes & locks the room door ... Gopal feels bad & Jeya sighs ...

Saku meets an astrologer , bribes him , to inform Kalyani that Shanky & Nandy's horoscopes didn't match .. Justifies her act , says , Nandy is not the right choice for their status .. Astrologer sees the money & thinks ...

Prasad & his friend walking in the road .. Nandy & Jeya too on the same road , but on the other side .. Prasad spots Nandy , tries to cross the road .. Friend pulls him & they reach the other side of the road , as traffic slows down .. But by then Nandy had left from there .. He scolds Prasad & he replies he'll give his life for Nandy ...

Kalyani arrives home .. Ponnamma serves tea to Devaraj (Deva) & Baski .. Deva tells her to spend some time for their family too .. Kalyani smiles , says , she has invited astrologer home .. Saku comes down .. Deva tells her to get Nandy's horoscope .. Astrologer arrives , Saku too comes there with nandy's horoscope .. Both exchange glances .. Kalyani updates him , with the Ponnu parkara incident .. Saku tells him to analyse the horoscope properly & to let them know if it matches with Shanky's .. With that she gets up , gives it to josiyar .. Kalyani gets the horoscope .. Saku who didn't expect this gets shocked 🤣🤣 🤣 ... All three men look at Saku ... Kalyani with a determined face , looks at Saku .....
