Kanji was in jail for 19 yrs, not 14 yrs. And Santu is s'posed to be 18 yrs, not 14 yrs old.

So, there isn't any limit for prison sentence in India. It can even be lifetime imprisonment, which is called "Aajivan Kaaravas" in Hindi (You might have heard that word in Bollywood movies😉)

But I have also heard that sometimes prisoners (those sentenced to lifetime imprisonment) are freed after quite some years (I think after a minimum of 14 years) because of good conduct in jail

So that can be the case of Kanji Wagela also

Kanji made it very clear that he was in Jail for 14yrs and returned now when one guy in his villagee ask him that 'he did not see him before in the village' Now i wonder if he has left a new born child with waghela how come that child can be khemi becoz she has crossed 20 or 20 now if santu is 18. In this case not khemi no santu is his child forget about Hiten who is much older than these two. I guess Ekta's creatives are confuesed that need a class for mathamatics.

Also, as someone said that Jhamku might be Khemi's maasi, I agree with it, it can be. Because both Khemi and Jhamku have light eyes, so Khemi got them from her mother's side. Also, when Jhamku was once talking to the picture of Rewa, she mentioned Rewa by her name, which might mean that Rewa and Jhamku were either sisters or friends and if you consider the first point of the eyes, then they were definitely sisters 😉
