It is possible that Kanji Waghela was found absconding for the first five years and then caught and served a sentance of 14 yrs.He left the child with people who had not started their own family.So the child must be older to Khemi . And most probably it is Hiten .Who the mother was is anybody's guess.

How can Hiten be Santo's son if he is not DM's son? In this scenario, DM would have no relationship with Hiten. One could say he is his step-dad (an unwilling one because he may not even be aware he had not fathered Hiten). Now the wife of step-dad would be step-step-mom, wouldn't she? Too far a relationship.

I think it was mentioned that Kanji was in prison for 16 years. So obviously the guy escaped the police for a few years before being caught. It could also explain why Moti was not aware that he was in prison all this while. I dont think the child is Moti's. Moti could well be a spurned lover. She must have been in love with the handsome hunk but he may not have been interested in her and married someone else. So she foisted a false case on him and got him arrested. This Jhampku lady could be Kanji's sister-in-law (wife's sister). Kanji's wife must have told her about Moti before dying while giving birth to Kanji's child. It looks like Khemi is that child and Khanji may find that out when he goes searching for her to hand over the chain. Maybe Khemi's maasi will help as she would know Reva too. All this would come out in public and when Khanji comes to know that his daughter is unable to marry the man she loves because of the quirky relationship brought on my her 'sister's' marriage to DM, he will clear the air. Maybe they will use a birth mark or something to prove that Khemi is actually Khanji's daughter.

Khanji's arrival will disturb Moti a lot and she will behave like a lovelorn puppy.

Opti, I totally agree with you. You have completely nailed the plot. This has to be it for the story to work with Hiten and Khemi. Moti is not Kanji's baby's mom. Someone else is, and Jhamku know who it is. Kanji must have committed some crime against Moti, that's why she had him arrested with her dad's help!

On second thoughts i feel that it all has something to do with the age numbers . Rather the mystery lies in solving the ages in connection with Kanji Waghela. The child kanji left was below 1 year.Now after 20 years the child must be round 20. Who fits the bill---

Hiten 23 ---- KADAMBARI---20 ---Maulik----19 ----Santu---18 ----Birva--14--Suraj--5or6---Moghi-----nowhere near20----KHEMI around 20/21

Then the secret and mystery shrouding all this is supposedly to be known to Nanjai,Motiben,Subhadhra ,Jhamku Jobanputra,Kanji Waghela,Santu's parents. Three of them are no more. Nanaji is keeping his cards close to his heart. Motiben is earnesty looking for Kanji Waghela ---Kanji WAghela is looking for his santan---Jhamku has written a letter to an unknown entity reg. her discovery of Motiben and what happened to Subhadra and got herself a job with the family knowing that what she knows will help her not to lose her job.

Considering the time when kanji Waghela handed over the child to Reva and Chagan...Suraj and Monghi are out of the equation. If Kanji got caught immediately after having handed the child over then the only one who fits the bill is Birwa. But if he did manage to ran from the police for a few years(and the no of years can be anything between 1 to 6 years considering Hiten's age) then the other elder children(Hiten,Maulik,Santu, Kadambari,Khemi) can come onto focus for being his child. Now I wonder which of them was??

Very interesting assumptions, Opti...but if Moti is the unwed mother, wouldnt DM have noticed her appearance when she was pregnant?

Btw, are u the same Opti (Optimist) who used to post in Kayamath forum too?

Yep, I am the same mad hatter. As to DM noticing if Moti was preg, well this is a BT show. Anything is possible. We did have a whole 2-month track about Prachi's invisible pregnancy in KYM did we not?

Well good to see you here too........looking forward to reading many more interesting posts by you. BT serial it surely is....but I hope they sway from the norm in this one, what with all her shows getting dumped by SP, Ekta surely must have learnt a lesson.
