Sagar Arts' multi-cast show on NDTV Imagine will have Priya Bhatija and Amit Jain playing pivotal roles..

Sagar Arts' show on NDTV Imagine 'Janam Daata' already boasts of some big names like Ram Kapoor, Vivan Bhatena, Neelu Kohli, Benjamin Gilani, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Pallavi Subhash, and the news coming in is that Priya Bhatija Shah and Amit Jain will be part of the younger generation of the show.

According to our source, "The concept of the show which is similar to Baghban will focus on four families, i.e. Gujarati, Maharashtrian, Punjabi and Muslim families. Priya Bhatija will play the daughter of one of the families".

"With this show, Amit Jain is back to essaying a full-fledged role after taking up cameo roles in Saat Phere and Kis Desh. His last show playing the lead role was 9X's Mere Apne", adds our source.

We tried calling Amit Jain but he remained unavailable for comments.

Priya Bhatija did not have any clue and said, "I have no idea about this show".

The show is expected to launch in August after the completion of Rakhi Ka Swayamvar on NDTV Imagine..

Thats good But 2 Be honest i wanna c her in a young Role, and in a Bt show but i,m Happy atleast we all can c her Best of Luck 2 Her! and Thanx 4 the Info

Thank you Saba,

I am really happy we are gonna see he again. I also hoped that we could see her in a younger role, but at least she is working in a serial, where most of the actors and actresses are known very well in the industry, such as Ram Kapoor!

I can't wait to see her!

the show has been renamed to 'Basera'...from the promo's it does appear that Ram & Pallavi r in the lead...its kinda Baghban story...so fingerscrossed...n wishing Pallavi the very best for this show!!!! Now waiting to hear from Yash!!!!
