BV - July 29th 2009 - Written Update

Highlights : Anandi is hurt by Jagya
Shyam tries to get through to Suguna.

Scene continues from Jagya threatening Anandi to not tell anyone about his smoking. Anandi insists that she will tell Sumitra. Jagya twists Anandi's arm real hard and pushes her on the bed. Anandi starts crying in pain. Jagya realises his mistake and looks at her sheepishly. Anandi yells at Jagya for hurting her. She tells him that he was never this mean. She refuses to be nice to him and tells Jagya that she won't do any of his work from now. Maasa who is passing by listens to the last part and yells at anandi for disrespecting her bheend. Anandi leaves crying. Maasa approaches Jagya and tells him that he has to beat Anandi in the exams this year. Jagya is relieved he isn't caught. He decides to brush his teeth and change clothes to hide evidence of his smoking.

In her room Anandi cries in front of Kanha ji about all that happened. She feels bad that her parents left her to suffer. She wishes her parents would take her back with them . In Khajan's house, Govind and Khajan hope the price of crops rises so that Khajan can sell his crop and repay his loan.

Back at the haveli. Shyam comes to Suguna's room and sees her lying in bed. He says that he went to the market to get Anandi Kanha ji's idol. He found a chunri there that he feels will look good on Suguna. He asks Suguna to wear it and show him. As he approaches Suguna, he sees that she has fallen asleep. He smiles and keeps the chunri next to her.

Anandi admires Kanhaji's idol that Shyam got for her. She feels bad that Jagya is not as caring as Shyam. Jagya comes there and apologises to Anandi, who is not ready to calm down. She tells Jagya not to smoke anymore and Jagya sort of says he won't. Anandi suspects that Sunder is behind Jagya's bad behavior and asks Jagya not to associate with Sunder anymore. Jagya is not ready to listen and tells her that Sunder is his friend. Anandi gets mad and refuses to patch up with Jagya. Jagya leaves in a huff telling her to do what she wants. Anandi is left crying.

In the morning Suguna wakes up and sees the chunri. Shyam, who is standing closeby asks her to wear it. Suguna throws the chunri at him and turns aside. Shyam demands to know why Suguna is being so unreasonable. Suguna says that there was no need for Shyam to be this nice to her and pretend to love her. Because of him, his family was facing disgrace. All he cared about was his selfish need to get married to her. In the process, he had hurt her family and had rekindled enmity with MS. She blames Shyam for ruining everything. Shyam tries to tell her that he did everything because he loves her and wants her to be happy. Suguna is not ready to listen. She tells him that she will never forgive him

Precap : Maasa tells Suguna to eat in Shyam's plate so that she can gain his love and respect. Suguna starts to serve herself in a new plate. Maasa stops her and insists that she eat in Shyam's plate. Suguna refuses to eat saying she doesn't need to follow such customs and leaves. Shyam watches this sadly.....
