hmm valid enough!

My issue with the "REVIEWS" I read is that..instead of providing valid enough points to support their criticisms, their reliance is based on more personal issues of likes and dislikes!

yea I did go a little overboard with that statement that you quoted!

I may have my own personal view/review of a bestseller/movie but I do not write for a proper website or a news channel which is expected to carry certain standard!

Yes if they cannot perform/write as good as the writer/actor, they must atleast have the ability or the knowledge to critique it!or a certification perhaps! If every other Self -proclaimed critic starts writing, we would be subjected to more rubbish than we are subjected to!

Yes if one is critiquing OR praising a movie to a wider audience through a media, they should follow certain standards! it goes both ways positive and negative!

Agreed!! They have no standard at all and writing is of very poor quality....50% of the review is revealing the story (including the ending!) and 40% is on the acting (and how they looked!!!). Where is the critical review of the movie???!!!!
