Yug might be a bit rude to Bharti and his family. But he is the only stable character, he never changed despite all the pain he had gone through. What do you mean by "Bharti gave five years of her life", did Yug ask her or fell on Bharti's feet to marry him. It was because of Yug's family and Bharti's selfish reasons that Yug has to bear the burden of the married life with Bharti. There is no fault, he never insults Bharti in anyway, he is only maintaining his stand from the beginning. Bharti is a nice girl, but she can never ever make Yug feel that Yug is not doing justice to her. It was all known to her.

People are upset because Vrinda changed sides and went to RB. If Yug also does the same thing, where lies the difference between Yug and Vrinda.

Yug is the only person whose personality did not change with time.
