Yug might be a bit rude to Bharti and his family. But he is the only stable character, he never changed despite all the pain he had gone through. His love for Vrinda never changed, his love for Vrinda is an example. Everyone including Bharti thought that Yug will give in after marraige, if not today tomorrow definitely. Just what Vrinda did.What do you mean by "Bharti gave five years of her life", did Yug ask her or fell on Bharti's feet to marry him. It was because of Yug's family and Bharti's selfish reasons that Yug has to bear the burden of the married life with Bharti.
