It's become obvious he did not really ever intend to marry Rakhi. He came for publicity I guess, and he arranged a scenario so that at this stage, doubts will be created about his character and commitment. He will deny it skillfully and leave the show as a good guy, and won't marry Rakhi either.

One point that supports this theory is his behaviour during the whole Ravi Kishan episode, when he gave contradicting accounts of the Anjali story and when he got angry with RK and Rakhi instead of apologizing. The second thing is how he is scheming (and by taking Manas onto his side) to get Luv eliminated. Maybe he has convinced other guys to walk out if Luv doesn't leave. If you think about it, Luv is the one who told RK that Manmohan is chalaak..

Anyway, all of this is just a theory. Maybe it's all wrong and he is a great guy.. but I doubt that.
