SCENE 4

Okay guys putting up part of the scene I have in mind for AN after Nikki is discharged from the hospital.

Back home, Nikki spends almost the whole day thinking about Abhi and getting frustrated that he has not even called once to check on her. She is unaware of the fact that Abhi has been secretly calling SLD and checking on Nikki. Since he took a promise from SLD not to tell Nikki he called and to keep it as a special secret just between the two of them, SLD is only thrilled to keep it since Abhi has made a special request to her and not Nikki..

Meanwhile SLD is unable to fathom why Nikki is looking all so upset and irritated. She keeps hugging, dancing, singing for Nikki to make her happy. By 10 pm Nikki can take it no more and sends SLD to the kitchen to make a sandwich for her. She then reaches for her cell and calls up Abhi. Seeing Nikki's number, Abhi smiles and answers the call with a firm voice saying "Yes Dr. Nikita, Koi pareshaani". Nikki is fuming. Taking a deep breath she says "Pareshani ? Tum yahin dekhna chahte ho na, ki main pareshaan hoon ki nahin!" Abhi feigns innocence and in a calm tone says "acha, maine kya kiya Dr. Nikita ?" Nikita is even more annoyed with his calmness and says "Woh Suman Lata......" and Abhi interrupts saying "Suman Lata ? Kya hua Suman Lata ko ? Woh teek toh hai" Nikki growls and say "usse kuch nahin hua hai, woh teek taak hai, sirf meri jaan kah rahi hain. Tum ne usse mujhe sambhalne beja hai ya mujhe pareshaan karne kyun ?" Abhi says "Ab main aise kyun karunga Dr. Nikita, ab tumhari shister tumhare khyaal nahin rakegi toh kaun rakega?" Nikki says "Main jaanti hoon yeh sab tum jaan bujkar kar rahe ho. Tum ne yeh nahin socha ki woh mere liye kitni pareshaani ho sakti hai?" Abhi says "Kyun, yeh tum ne nahin socha jab tum usse mere oopar tope rahi thi! Har baar mere jo bhi plans hai usse saamne laakar, usse bigaad deti ho!" Nikki tries pleading softly ""Dekho tum please aakar Suman Lata ko lekar jaaon" Abhi says "es waqt raat bahut ho chuki aur mujhe neend aa rahi hai, main sone ja raha hoon. Goodnight!" Nikki gets annoyed and says indignantly "Acha tum so jao, achi tarah koshish karna sone ke liye, kaash tumhe neend na aa jaaye ! Abhi smiles Nikki continues her ranting "main yahan nahin reh sakti hai, main ja rahi hoon!" Abhi says "acha, jahan ja rahi ho, agar chaho toh pahunchne ki khabar de dena. Aur haan ! ek aur baat, Don't forget Total Bed Rest !" Nikki takes an angry deep breath and says "Ok Fine ! I am going !" and bangs the phone. Abhi looks at the phone and smiles "tum kahin nahin ja paoge Nikki jee".

SLD comes to Nikki's room to see she is out of the bed and with one hand struggling to pull down a suitcase from the top of a cupboard. She asks her, "yeh kya kar rahi ho jee ?" With an irritated look Nikki asks her to get the suitcase down. Confused, SLD gets down the suitcase and asks "kya karna hai iska?" As Nikki starts flinging clothes from her wardrobe on to the bed she says "Main ja rahi hoon" SLD's eyes pop wide open.... "Kahan ja rahe ho jee, aap bistar mein let jao jee, warna Dr. Abhimanyu ........." Nikki doesn't allow her to finish. With an angry look and pointing a finger at her says "Naam mat lo uss uss Dr. Abhimanyu ka .......... aap ek kaam ki jiye, aap uss kamre mein jao aur thodi der ke liye mujhe akeli chod do" With a sad face SLD goes to the next room.... Nikki slumps down on the edge of the bed....Angry tears well up her eyes and she keeps pulling at one of her tops lying on the bed "kya samajhta woh apne aap ko ?" Gamandi !! Akkadu !! Meanwhile SLD has called Abhi up and appraised him of Nikki's doings.... Abhi tells SLD to give the phone to Nikki and when SLD asks Nikki to speak to him, Nikki says loudly "Mujhe kisise baat nahin karna hai ! Mujhe der ho rahi hai ! Flight miss ho raha hain. Abhi hears it all and shakes his head with a sigh ! When SLD tries to tell him what Nikki said she realises Abhi has already disconnected the phone.

Witihn 10 mins Abhi walks into Nikki's room and finds her sitting on the bed putting clothes, scattered on the bed, into her suitcase. Seeing Abhi, Nikki tries to ignore him and continues with her packing. Abhi goes near her and towering over her with hands on his hips asks her "Yeh tum kya kar rahi ho! Tumko main ne 6 days total bed rest lene ko kaha tha na ?" Nikki says "Haan Main ne sun li thi !" Tum mere doctor ho hospital mein... Abhi bends forward and is about to hold Nikki's hand, when SLD shrieks from behind "Haiyeee, Dr Abhimanyu toh hamara ..... she blushes and then swirling to and fro she says "hamare special dost hai na jee !" Nikki gives her an annoyed look while Abhi rolls up his eyes and thinks 'if he has to make any progress with Nikki he has to get rid of SLD first'. He wonders what to do and looks out of the window. He notices and dark clouds in the sky. He turns around, puts on his sweetest smile and tells SLD "Pata hai Suman Lata Jee ?" SLD goes "Haaiyee.......SuSu kahiye na !" Abhi gives a wide fake smile again and says "Susu Jee, pata hai aaj kya din hai ! SLD asks "kya din hai jee !" All the while Nikki is looking wide eyed confused at Abhi whose back is towards her. He says "Pata hai, kehte hai ki aaj ke din agar aap chaand ko baadalon se kam se kam pachaas (50) baar nikalte dekhoge, toh aap ko apni man pasand jeevan saathi mil jaayega ! Nikki's eyes pop open wide. She tries to hide a smile. SLD goes "Haiyee, sacchi !" Abhi says "Haan jee!". He turns to Nikki and gives her an amused look while Nikki is trying not to smile as she looks at him. Looking back at SLD he says "aap kyun nahin chhat pe jaa ke chaand ko dhoondne ki koshish ke jiye ?" SLD says "Chaliye na aap bhi chaliye hamare saath. Abhi quickly says "nahin jo bhi chaand ko dekta hai usse akela hona chahiye nahin toh woh khwaish poori nahin hoti hai! Aap oopar chhat pe jayiye and then giving a wry sideway look towards Nikki says "main neeche se hi mera chaand dhoondta hoon" Nikki scowls at the half amused look he gives her. SLD leaves and Abhi blows a "phew " in relief.

He then turns to Nikki who is attempting to get up. As she stands unsteadily he reaches forward and holds her, hands going around her waist. As she leans on to him they are looking into each other's eyes. Nikki then tries to wriggle away from his hold saying "mujhe jaane do ! Without loosening his grip Abhi asks "Kahan ?" Nikki gives him an annoyed look and says "tumhe kya farak padta hai ! tum he toh mazaa aa raha hai na, jaan bhujkar ye sab kar rahe ho ! Tum jaante ho ki main tumse pyar karti hoon isi liye tum mujhe pareshaan ...........Suddenly she stops saying any further as she realises what she just blurted out...... As Abhi keeps staring at her, Nikki blushes red and nervously tries her best to avoid his gaze. Finally Abhi says "Pyar karti ho aur phir bhi pareshaan karti rehti ho!" As Nikki looks up at him he continues "aur mujhe pyar se tumhe pareshaan karne ka haq bhi nahin hai ? Pareshaan karne ka Haq sirf tumhara hai kya ?" Nikki sees the mischief in his eyes and with a slight smile says "Haan!" Abhi smiles and pulling her closer says "Teek hai phir main doosra haq leta hoon !" Nikki gives him a confused look. Raising an eyebrow and with a slight twisted smile, he starts bending down towards her. It dawns on Nikki what he was really upto ! She blushes once again and tries to stop him saying "Abhi ! kya kar rehe ho ! Woh Suman Lata kabhi bhi aa sakti hai !" Abhi gives her a wicked smile and says "Pata nahin aapko ? usse aaj raat chaand ke saath date hai jee!" Nikki laughs and gives him a slight slap on the cheek. Abhi pulls her closer and slowly bends down for a kiss...
