I am a feminist, so although I find your analysis good, I wouldnt recomend it

so I feel gauri can best get back to her mother's place - after all its in her family!!!!!!!!

almost all the sisters come back & stay at their mother's place most of the time after marriage

There are a few options that could happen:

1) Devyani could have some hospital scenes--either a heart attack or death (Likely)

2) Akash realizing everything on his own, maybe after Payal leaves him for some other dude (Highly unlikely)

3) Gauri growing a dozen spines (Nearly impossible) 🤣

4) Gauri going back to G House (Likely since her sisters set such wonderful examples)

5) Either Gauri or Akash get into some kind of accident...the other person takes care of the injured (Sorta likely)

I can't think of anything more...dimaag hi thoda pak gaya hai in this matter.....every option is overdone and redundant.....and i can bet the writers will come up with a silly goose plot to fix things between Akash....which will irritate me even more

You said it . She almost got raped due to his irresponsibility , what is a slap compaed to this ? I tell u , the next thing they will be showing in this serial is temple bells ringing in the background when women r being slapped , beginning with Gauri . Or holy conches being blown or something . With a shloka or mantra like mangalam bhagwan vishnu being uttered , like in Dulhann.
