government decides to ban balika vadhu

hey guess what. today i got a shocking news. As i was surfing through the tv channels i came accross samay (hindi news channel) where they were highlightinh that the some minister has proposed and appealed to the government to ban balika vadhu. These words were being flashed continuously
" balika vadhu serial par utha sawal"
" serial government rules ke khilaf"
" ho sakta hai ki serial ban ho jaye"
and stuff like this
i was shocked. Abolishing child marraige is our governments responsibility. They are not fulfilling their responsibility😡. and when little children have taken up the responsability to spread awareness why so much nautanki. The serial shows nothing that is illegal.

New Delhi: Raising questions on several TV serials, JU U president Sharad Yadav today said that serials like Balika Vadhu should be banned.

He said that there is no use of showing soap like Mahakal. Responding to his queries, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni said that she would look into the matter.

lol! dont worry it wont happen. the govt has more sense than going after BV. these hindi news channels are stupid and need a new breaking news every minute.

hey u know i too caught a glimse of it while my grandad was watching that channel.
some minister was creating ruckus abt bv going against government rules or something
and right u are disha the government does nothing and when they see children like avika, avinash, vibha and vikrant spread messages and successfully aware the citizens they start getting perplexed.

this is not fair yaar thy cant do this

Balika badhu is a good serial.... one of my favorites too but then they actually show illegal things.

When the show started it seemed they are against child marriage and now they show anandi happily settled in her in-laws...they showed rape in marriage which is also considered illegal and now they are trying to show gehna-basant in love......definitely not sending tight msg to society.

The creative heads shld remember what the show is all about and send out the right msg to the people instead of taking us back to a time when child marriage.age diffrerence between the bride and groom and stuff like this was commom.So govt might take the step of stopping such a serial which is actually started to encourage these illegal things.

i agree with u,the production shud be more responsible while dealing with such sesitive issues.even the fact tht sugna is underaged and when she got pregnant they showed against abortion,which is usually the safest option for underage pregnancys.

I just don't want Balika to be banned. This show is aired all over the world. If this is a kind of joke then it must not happen. (lol.. just saying a dialogue).

My mother and I watch this show regularly. It should not end.

Balika badhu is a good serial.... my favorites one. there are lots of other unreal shows going on. gov. should ban on those serial.

it cant happen .... these guys do it fr some attention, 😡
