At the break fast table, Jai Walia entered neatly dressed in blue jeans ,white tee shirt . it was after a long time he was casually dressed and all the family members eyes were upon him when he walked in .

Bani's eyes followed the path of jai's , she heard the remark and felt suddenly jealous , not knowing why ?she knew Pia dixit was jai's fiance and is going to marry him in two weeks time, the marriage ceremony celebrated huge way .
she was here helping in the preparations of the ceremony. Bani Dixit is not related to Pia Dixit by blood but both share same last names. Bani ,an independent girl , was orphaned when small , was under the protection of her uncle who loved her a lot .After the demise of her uncle she came to Mumbai to earn a living for herself .
Jai Walia's family is known to bani's uncle. The family members including jigyasa love her a lot and there is no end of the masti that they manage behind jai walia. Jigyasa, her daughter Anu ,Ranveer, Sahil, Adi .They were happy go kind of family only jai the khadoos. Nevertheless jai never interfered in their fun and kept aloof from her .
Seeing bani , anu and jigyasa called out loudly
"kya hua itna der kaise?"
"voh voh…' bani got tongue tied seeing the lion's eyes on her as he turned back and glared at her warning the consequences .
Bani's cheeks flushed and she sat down silently .
When jai left, bani told the morning situation with dramatism to anu and jigyasa minus the towel dropping scene, making them laugh.

Two weeks later
The marriage of Jai walia and Pia dixit was going to held in Walia hotels, the pundit called for the bride and the girl dressed in red heavy worked ghagra choli walked demurely towards the pandal , jai's eyes were glued to the girl whose face was fully covered by the veil .
When jai was filling the vermilion in her parting, he saw the face of his bride and was totally shocked when jigyasa whispered him to control his emotions and do the traditions, jai filled the vermilion and the put the mangalsutra brusquely ,taking the 7 steps in rush ,he left his bride on the pandal and left . The reporters and the guests were stunned but soon jigs handled

It was bani's first night as the bride and wife of Jai Walia . She had nothing but tears in her beautiful round eyes,
Pia had absconded from the pandal last minute to complete a fashion show in Australia. Jigyasa having no other way made bani to sit so that her bro is protected from the harshness and mockery of society.

Bani sat on the bed with her viel still hiding her face. Jai came to his room , wild with anger seeing the arrangements of flowers and candles got mad ,dropping everything around , tearing the curtains, bed cover everything his eyes fell on , he caught bani's hand and pulled her towards him
"thanks for your kindness and big heart becoming my bride ,now get out of the room" he harshly spoke and shoved her out of room, bani fell on her knees.. She was helped by jigs who gave her shelter in guest room. Bani's leg got bruised. Bani lifted the border of her dress to her knees and applied lotion, wincing in pain , she cleared the oozing blood .

The following days, the smile and laughter of WM members was lost somewhere, they had the breakfast, dinner together but the coziness missing. Bani did attend the table and take her food , went to do her job , she never behaved as mrs.Walia but did hold the mangalsutra in her neck and a small vermilion in her parting quiet invisible to the world and to Jai .
Jai cared for none. His routine was bizarre, when he ate food, when he slept or when he worked no one knew.Always drunk he was , cursing people around and scaring them away , Jigyasa ,Adithya tried their best to hold upon their Jai but no use.. bani was silent yet knew about his routine from Tony .

One night , Jai came home totally drunk and banged the door, Tony wasn't there, Bani opened to see him wobbling totally drunk .he made his way inside, walking hitting the side table and other things on the path , bani came forward supporting him taking his arm on her shoulder , the other hand of his held the bottle of alcohol. Bani scrunched her nose with the mell of alcohol. Jai seeing her brushed her off ,
"get lost" saying he tried to take the stair one by one but again unbalanced bani held him on shoulders guiding the steps into the room.
She kicked the door to open and then jai fell on bed puling bani on him. Whispering
"Pia I loved u … I loved u ... but u … betrayed me…"
Tears dropped from the closing eyes of Jai sideways wetting the ears. Bani watched his face so near .Today she saw the hurt and lost man in Jai , the man who ruled the business world was broken down , she gathered strength. slowly touched his face rubbing off his tears, she set his hair as they waved in the cold air ,looking at the broad forehead she was tempted to kiss him and she kissed his forehead, then each of the cheeks slowly, jai fell into deep slumber moved to his side, bani got up from her place, she looked at him once and left to her room.
Bani when she crossed her room jigyasa saw the tears in her eyes,and the help she did in taking Jai to bed . bani tried to hide the tears and rushed to her room.
She crashed on bed, realizing how hurting it is to see the person you love being in such a state.
Yes I love jai , when I don't know . I always wanted prayed your happiness. Your happiness lay in Pia and I kept quiet, moved away from his path. Like Radha loved Krishna, I wanted to love and cherish you.i cant bear seeing u in pain..
Jigyasa in her room sat on bed thinking how to bring Jai back on path . she lifted a number and spoke .

Jai got up with throbbing head. Tony served the lemon juice and coffe . jai took them and went to his work. While driving, he felt a warm sensation of kissing his pain by an angel. But the vision was blurr and jai concentrated on work.
At lunch, he passed through Bani's chamber to see her talking to chatting comfortably with Ranveer and Pushkar. Smiling.. There was that twinkle in her eyes and the ease of smile on her face. He was mesmerized. How come she be like that?unaffected by any worry .
Easy go lucky way.

In the evening, jai got the news of Massi arriving to see his munna and the bahu . Jai got a jolt. Bani now had to be presented as his wife and behave also …
Massi's presence meant no drinks for jai .
Jigyasa requested Bani to behave as ideal wife of Jai.
Bani looked at the pleading eyes of jigyasa and agreed .when massi came to jai's room she found nothing of bani.
Bahu ka koi samaan nahin?
Voh masssi .. Jai was struck silently praying to get out of the situation.
"Massi voh mere samaan uss room main hain" Came the reply from bani who entered the room.
Kyun? Massi asked puzzled,
Voh abhi ashaad maass(a month in hindu calendar ) chal raha haina . massi .punditji ne kaha ki.. (This is the month when the new wedded couple donot share their bed and room actually they should not even meet also but since the marriage of jb was different.)
Ohh .. teek hain beta.
After massi left. Jai looked at bani with a thankful look. Bani smiled and walked away.
The next few days, massi was mighty impressed by the manner in which bani took care of things at home .she also noticed the lack of interaction btw the couple.
Beta abhi tho ashaad khatam hogaya massi showed the calendar.
Bani and jai looked at each other and nodded there head. Bani's things moved into jai's room. She was scared to share the room with the lion.
Jai was not in way welcoming her in his room. He wasn't happy about the idea.
Bani slept on the floor and jai on his bed . massi once caught this seeing the make shift bed
Bani needed to make a cock and bull story .she answered it like.
"massi mujhe raat ko baalonko tail(oil) lagane ke aadat hain .tho bistar kharab hojayega isliye…niche .sogaye.."
Masi chuckled at her.
Jai was having hard time to stop laughing she had really weirdest sense of humor.
Massi answered back "chalega beta, mera munna itna tho kamaatha hain ki voh bistar (bed) aur takhiya (pillow) kharide"
Bani made a face then "kyun munna?"
"munna?" bani aksed in puzzle
"arey jai ka bachpan ka naam"
Bani burst out laughing. Her eyes twinkling in mischief . He looked at those eyes,which attracted him like magnet while he glared at her .
"Chup bahu . apne pati par haste hain kya? Masi admonished.
Bani bit her lips murmuring "sorry masi."

Massi wanted to improve the attachment btw JB and hence planned the tour to the farmhouse.
Bani was forced to sit in Jai's car. While rest took another vehicle. Jai showed his displeasure in sharing the ride with her. The road was highway, either side of the road there were mango trees jeweled with mangoes, the
Bani saw the uneasiness and spoke
"Please stop the car"
Jai applied breaks halting the car . bani got down. Jai looked at her in questioning way .
"main aajaonge aap jaa sakte hain. I will manage. You don't have to bear with me"
Jai didn't saying reply instead zooming the car on the road.
Bani walked slowly on the Tar road having the mango trees on either side. The mangoes raw, big in saw drooping the branches touching the soil as if asking the mother earth to accept it .
Bani tempted to take them walked closer to the end of the road . A small canal separating the road and the orchard. Bani crossed it carefully putting her legs on the soil other side, she looked ta the mangoes with awe and pulled two from the tree. Choosing them. The slight sound made by the tree alerted the watch woman there
"kaun hain"
Scared to hell bani jumped to the road and sprinted some path.
Jai who was also riding the car felt his conscious pricking at the thought of her alone on the road rode back to the place where he had dropped her. He saw the entire scene of bani going into the orchard, plucking the mango and running away from the watch woman. He was amused over the manner in which Bani found her happiness. Her eyes sparkling gazing the fruit.
The watch woman came behind to catch hold bani when jai came to her rescue stopping right infront of her, opening the car door for her to hop in. with out much thought bani got in and jai rode of. bani was giggling now she had triumphed in stealing mangoes.
"sharam nahin aate chore karte hue" asked jai
Bani shrugged her shoulders and just gauged at the mangoes in her hands with the thought of sharing her experience to anu and others.
When jb reached it was late and anu asked innocently
"kya hua bani late kyun?"
"arey bhai naye naye shaadi hue . tho voh time par kaise aate" massi comented wickedly . jai excused himself.
Bani showed the mangoes to anu who squealed in delight, they went inside to chop the mangoes and put the salt to eat. When jai stood at the door watching them.
Bani reluctantly handed him a piece.
"No thanks" jai said but he stood there watching her
"lelo varna nazar lagega tumhara " saying so bani shoved the plate forward. Jai took a piece and cherished the taste. A smile lit his face as bani with twinkling eyes narrated her adventure to anu.
Jai left the place.

At night, bani was suffering with severe head ache akin to migraine . She knew the remedy as oiling her hair.
She took the hair oil bottle and poured it into her hands like water and applied to her hair. Dumping them with the oil. The oil was dropping from the sides of her face. When jai entered he saw her in mess. All her hands oily , her face and her head. She was a complete mess. He had to make an effort to make a straight face. He lay on the bed on his side closing his eyes.
Bani went to bathroom washing her face and arms off the oil stains. She checked her bag for the shower cap which wasn't . she took the newspaper nearby and put it on the pillow to prevent oil seeping on thepillow and slept . the noise of newspaper crackling disturbed jai sleep.
"kya hain yeh"
"paper " replied bani
"pata hain, itna shor kyun kar rahe hoo. Mujhe sona hain ?. "
"tho so jao kaun rokta hain " saying so she turned to her side and slept . The newspaper again made the crackling noise. Jai saw her body on the bed and sighing he closed his eyes.
In the morning when jai woke up bani wasn't seen. Her side of bed empty. He got up to go to washroom , he tried to open the door when the other side also twisted and door flew open, bani with her hair just washed in yellow salwar kameez appeared in front of him. Jai passed her through the door inhaling her scent when her hair got struck in his night shirt button. The nearness making her brain dizzy bani tried to move away and inprocess hit him near his heart. Jai touched her shoulders to steady her .bani gasped taking a long beath. He looked at her solemn face, untangling the hair.. bani ran out from bathroom .
The door was shut with a bang. bani regained her senses. She took the comb and strated to untangle her hair. The droplets of water wetting her shoulders and back. When jai came out of bathroom, he was mesmerized by her sight. Gawking at her. Feeling his eyes bani looked up and then consciously got up from the stool and went out of the room.
"haye hayee. Aaj bani bahut sundar lag rahe hoo" commented sahil when jai also came out. He glared at sahil.
"voh tumhare mami hain " his authoritive tone rang in the room bani and shail stunned . bani looked behind jai to see massi and thought it was his act .

The next two nights bani followed the routine of malishing her curly hair with oil to prevent the head ache.
Jai hardly had sleep with the newspaper crackling …or the fact that he started liking his wife bani .. Falling for her ..
the walia's were back to Mumbai
jai needed to leave to goa for project when massi intervened saying take bani along with you . u people need to spend time together .
jai reluctantly booked the tickets. Handed her though. Jb left to airport .At the airport , they took different routes to reach the same destination. They went to same hotel but different rooms,
jai was busy with his project details when he needed assistance on the details of project when he knocked the door of bani. The door opened . he saw her sitting infront of dresser with comb in her hands doing her hair .she twirled her hair and head in one round singing the song

Seeing her state of expression , jai first got scared and then burst out laughing right at the door step. Bani seeing him got confused at first and then her tubelight brain lighted and she was embaressed seeing him.
Jai took time in regaining his posture and then asked about the details of the project.flustered bani replied awkwardly.
All day jai had smile on his face. The project he won . the day went happy . in the evening when his face muscles ached with pain due to over stretch he realized hwo much bani made him smile evrytime unlike pia eho made him cry .
There was a party on the beach and he invited . jai informed about the party to bani . though uninterested she reluctantly got ready in black saree shining like the dark sky with white sparkling stars . jai took her to the party and proudly introduced her to his clients. While on the opposite side there stood PIa posing with mohan khandelwal. She was surprised seeing the smiling face of Jai .
Bani thought all to be fake even his smiling face .
Later at night they resigned to there rooms.
Bani not getting sleep switched on the television and browsed the channels to stop at MTv midnight show. She put it on loud music.
Jai in his room was hardly able to sleep tossing and turning on bed .fed up he got up from bed to take a fresh air . he went to the pathway when he heard the loud music from bani's room assuming her awake , he knocked at the door . bani opened it to see jai at her door step.
"aap yahaan itne raat ?" she quiered
"haan voh neendh nahin aarahe the ! tehlne aagaya tho dekha tumhare kamr se awaaz aarahe the. Tumhe bhi neend nahin aarahe hain kya?"
"voh voh " bani twirled her nighty . he saw her nervousness and smiled.
"teek hain main jaatha hoon"
"nahin rukiye ,andar aayeye" bani invited
They sat on the bed with the remote in bani's hand hearing the songs.

Jai not hearing started to sing the entire song tunelessly. Bani picking up the pillow threw at him, jai holding it threw it back and in manner n both landed on bed. Jai trying to control bani , bani trying to hit him. Jai's hind limbs held her at waist tightly and his forelimbs her hands. Bani realized her position and dropped her arms. But jai was reluctant to leave her hands. Bani's breathing became heavier, beads of perspiration on her forehead and lips. Jai saw her beautiful face so near and without much thought bent on her and kissed her fore head, eyes, cheeks, taking her lips slowly. Bani at first was stunned by his actions, but then started to respond to his kiss. Soon the night faded.
Early morning, bani woke up to see jai lying on her chest. His warm breath hitting her chest. Goose bumps forming.. bani closed her eyes reliving the moments of love her husband expressed for her . Jai opened his eyes to see bani's face just above him. His hands wrapped around her stomach and his legs entangling into her's.
Bani opened her eyes to see jai's eyes upon her. There was confusion in her eyes whether he would repent the beautiful night?
Jai closed all her confusions with one kiss on her lips whispering the song
