There were some comments by ppl that if homosexuality can B decriminalised as its between 2 consenting adults then why not prostitution as it too involves consent ! Now do U think that prostitution ought 2 B made legal? ???

...and yet our mother/sister/daughter being treated as a second class citizen, lacking in basic civil and human rights, whipped/stoned like an animal for venturing out with a man, or bonking little babies (pedophilia) is absolutely okay according to you. 🥳 At least homosexuality is consensual.

...and yet you cannot help but participate into any topic as such. 😉 Sick are those things that one likes to stay away from.

Anyway, welcome back! 🤗

Did we not have enough topics on homosexuality to last us a lifetime? What is the need of creating the very same topic over and over again after every alternative days? Another topic is already there to discuss these matters. Besides, is the gist of the topic about prostitution or about homosexuality? Can the subject of legalization of prostitution be not discussed without bringing homosexuality (?) into account? And funnily enough, rarely does the LGBT community or supporters open such threads (even though them opening it makes much more sense, as they have a reason to).

Anyway, when people speaks against homosexuality (and that too without any logical reasons), they are really showing off the state of their own mind, because, when we comment on something, we usually show off what is in our mind more than commenting on the thing itself. Hence when people waste half of their days screaming against homosexuality, they, in reality, are showing off what is inside themself.

Besides, it is beyond my understanding as to how can one stoop so low as to compare the act between two lovers with the act of sleeping with an unknown person just for the sake of money. Heck, people even compares pedophilia, zoophilia and necrophilia with homosexuality; this is nothing compared with those ones.

you know, i had been wondering the exact same thing a couple of days ago, right after watching a news feature on people's reactions to the decison made by the Delhi HC...there were three arguments every person against the move had in common...one of them was this feeble attempt at logical analogy, comparing Homosexuality to Prostitution like they have everything in common, which makes very little sense to me...but that is besides the point, if i am to stick to yor question strictly...
as far as prostitution is concerned, it has also been a very sensitive issue in India...and for a long time too...that is at least one thing shares with Homosexuality as an issue...other than that, it is very different...since while homosexuality is about personal choice, prostitution may not always be so, especially in a country like India...and therefore, it would follow to some extent that before one thinks of legalising it one should first try and assess whether there can be something else done to protect the right of those women who are not into it of their own free will...poverty has been as issue since time immemorial, and i agree that wiping it out is not an overnight process...but if a step is taken to legalise prostitution, it is not feasible for it to be so without additional attention to its causes, and whether it is correct to allow them to exist along with the trade itself...
that apart, the problem also aises of what happens after such a step is taken...one of the main concerns of prostitution, practically speaking, is STDs...and so, legalising it must involve precautions of that nature as well...which, in turn, will include sex-education, condom vending machines, general awareness...see how so many larger issues get connected with it? change, if brought about, cannot be brought about with a unidimensional approach...if the present government is prepared to do that, then there are many things that can be set right, and prostitution is certainly one of them...
i'm sorry about the length...i have a problem with being concise at times...hehe...sorry!
cheers! 😃

still i'd ask you onething is that how we can justify homosexuality?😕

I protest homosexuality i've been to India recently when it was made legal i condemned it there as well😳
Regarding prostitution i agree to sameer ji no one would ever like to permit there daughters/mothers/sisters for prostituion.....but the question is that would anyone allow their kids for homosexuality?😕
