Just can't digest

Why the hell is Shyam bent on marrying Sugna? First of all she is pregnant and clearly loves another person. It would be okay if Shyam and Sugna loved each other, but when Sugna is so against the marriage and his parents are also against the marriage...I cannot understand how he can fall in love. This is absurd. It is almost as if he is taking advantage of the situation and forcing her to marry.

And what is up with the captions at the end? They keep showing sugna's crying face and then the caption says that widow remarriage is the only way to improve a windows life. What the ##$##? Is marriage the only way to improve one's life? Are they trying to show that a widow should remarry even if she does not want to and the society should force her to marry? How is this women's emancipation?

Same thought... Why do the captions always say that society should help widows or that society's nazaria should change and all that crap .. Everybody should help themselves .. Suguna did nothing to help herself .. rather she gets into more and more trouble ..
Also, what kind of stupid track is this .. it would have made sense if suguna and shyam were in love .. but they are showing as shyam was in love at first sight .. what rubbish ..
I think they handled Basanth/Gehna track more maturely because they showed that Genhna's respect for her hubby grew gradually ...

No, but is there any other way of helping widows in a rural area like this. their just showing the stuff thas possible if they showed somethign else then we all wud have been saying or its not true its soo unreall... on n on.. in rural areas u have seen what Sugna went through when she was a widow re marriage would have been one of the only ways.. if we saw her studying instead going on.. liek that do you think they wud send her off to study in the cities the massages are real they provoke good messages to the society in which these people live in... soe poeple think widow remarriage is the only thign not possible.. their just makign those minded people to udnerstand slowly

It has been reported twice on SBS that Shyam is not marrying Suguna out of love. This is his and Madan Singh's way of taking revenge. It may get cleared out in next few episodes, I guess.

lets not go in the future its better if we duscuss the current track Ps I think Shyam married Sugna to give her a better life. Maybe he liked her he doesn't love her for sure he doesn't know her.Badi asi said once, soe guys hold widows hands to give them a better future.

i agree...but hold the hand of a girl who is so unwilling and unhappy? what is the point except bring upon misery upon himself. despite shyam denials wont be get fed up with suguna's attitude one day?
