Four Guys, Three Girls, Two Dances and a Wedding
"You cannot still be sulking, Nonee," Aradhna complained. Nonee just pouted some more and crossed her arms across her chest. She had been making the same face since they had found out that no one had gotten Chuck Bass' number. (Bhav, of course, had spent a lot of time on the phone texting Nate. And Radz had failed to mention to her friends that she had given Dan her number, and they had been talking every night.) Nonee blamed Radz for not getting Chuck's number, and Radz thought Nonee was being ridiculous, seeing as she had not said a word to the man.
Bhav bounded over to her two friends, not noticing the tension between them. "Preet's here!" she trilled. Immediately, Nonee brightened. Radz rolled her eyes, sighing deeply.
"Where?" Nonee stood on her tiptoes, peering over Bhav's head in the direction she had come from. She swooned playfully. "Is it me, or did he get better looking?"
"Overnight?" Radz asked drily, raising an eyebrow. Sometimes, she wondered why she was friends with them. They gave her identical glares. She raised her hands in defence.
"Come on A, let's go say hi," Nonee grabbed her arm and tugged her along behind her and Bhav. Radz let herself be dragged, glad that Nonee was talking to her at the moment.
"Hey Preet," Nonee grinned at the younger brother of the groom. Preet smirked back, greeting all three girls. Radz shook her head in amusement as her two best friends started to flirt with the Juneja Casanova, and turned her attention to Preet's elder brother, whose gaze kept flickering to the staircase.
"Prem Jiju, woh aati hi hogi," she teased. Prem coloured, and looked at her in embarrassment.
"Woh ' main," he stuttered. She giggled. Prem was saved from further humiliation from the younger woman when Shifali came to call the three girls upstairs. While Preet made a fuss, having his two girls dragged away from him, neither Shifali nor Radz paid any heed.

Some hours before...
"You want to what?" Dan asked in disbelief. "I'm sorry, did you drink that much last night that you're still drunk?"
"Daniel," Chuck drawled. "I am neither drunk nor high."
"Then where did you get this idea from?" Dan looked from Chuck, who was sitting on the bar stool in his suite to Nate, who was sprawled on the couch, phone in hand.
"It's a good idea though, you've got to admit," Nate looked up from the text he had just gotten from Vanessa.
"Thank you," Chuck toasted his best friend with the soda Dan had poured him, refusing to give him any more alcohol. "See," he told Dan, gesturing to Nate. "Nathaniel has gotten over Vanessa thanks to the girl who threw up on his jacket."
Nate grinned, glancing at the photo he had clicked off said girl when she was asleep on the couch nine nights before. "I want to go."
Dan shook his head. "You want to crash the wedding of two people you don't know?"
"You mean you don't want to see your girl?" Chuck just looked at Dan, an eyebrow raised.
Dan sank onto an armchair. "I need a drink," he muttered. Chuck made as if to pour him one. "I didn't mean literally."

Radz was shoo-ed out of Meera's room, not being much of a help in making her feel any better. She had lost all patience with Nonee and Bhav, who were constantly trying to sneak out of the room to speak with Preet, and had snapped at them. Shifali had seen her irritation mounting and had sent her away from their mutual friends, lest she try to kill them. After hearing all about what they had put her through in New York, Meera and Shifali had both sympathised, and known that spending too much time with them would cause her to crack under all the pressure. She needed time to herself, which she had not gotten since they had set off to reach Canada some two weeks ago.
"Just whose brilliant idea was it to go on a road trip?" she muttered darkly to herself.
"Yours," chirped a familiar voice from behind her. She spun around and squealed in delight when she saw Shabo smiling at her. The younger girl opened her arms for a hug, which Radz gladly gave her. "Kaise ho Di?"
Radz sighed, her exhaustion showing on her face. "Next time I have an idea that involves a road trip, especially with N and B, hit me over the head with something hard." She leaned against the banister, facing Meera's door. Shabz stood next to her, her arms on the banister. She looked over at the other girl.
"Come on, it could not have been that bad," she commented. At Radz' incredulous look, she chuckled, before asking excitedly, "What did they do? And can we use it for blackmail?"
This elicited a laugh from Radz. "Probably," she managed between giggles. "I'll tell you later though?" Her eyes twinkled. "It's a long story."
Shabz rubbed her hands together in glee. "Ooh, sounds intriguing."
Radz laughed again, glad for Shabz' presence.
"Oh. My. God." Shabz straightened next to her friend, looking down at something.
Radz looked worriedly over at her friend, turning to face her. "What? What happened?"
"So hot," she widened her eyes comically. Radz looked over in the direction Shabz was gazing at. Her mouth dropped open in surprise and she squeaked. "Di?" She was shocked when the other girl turned slightly pink, before sheepishly looking over at her.
"They're part of the long story," she informed her friend.
"Scandalous," she teased. "I'm going down there," she smirked at Radz, before flouncing off.
"Shabz," Radz warned, hurrying after her. The other girl was faster though, and managed to reach the three new guests, who looked rather out of place in their suits. Radz only managed to catch Shabz' statement to them.
"Can I help you boys? You look lost."
Chuck saw her first, and instead of answering Shabo, nudged Dan. "There your girl is," he said. Dan looked at Radz, who sent him a bewildered glance. Shabo looked between the two and raised an eyebrow.
"Di, kya chakkar chal raha hai?"
Radz looked at the younger girl in embarrassment. "Kuch nahi."
The three men exchanged confused glances. "What?" Nate asked.
"Nothing," Radz answered hastily. "What are you guys doing here?"
"It was their idea," Dan replied immediately.
"Why am I not surprised?" she sighed wryly
"Okay, I am supremely confused," Shabo piped up. Radz opened her mouth. "Don't say it, Di." She shut it with a pout.
"Why does she keep calling you that?" Chuck asked. "I thought your name was Radz."
"Aradhna, actually," Shabz answered for her. "And 'Di' is respect, for an elder sister."
"She's your elder sister?" Chuck took a step forward.
"Don't even think about it, Bass," Radz glared at him. "It's bad enough you tried to take advantage of Nonee when she was drunk."
Shabz tugged at her arm. "You have got to tell me this story later," she whispered in her friend's ear.
Before anything else could happen, Shifali hurried towards the two girls. Upon seeing the men, she paused. "Who are you?"
"Nice Shifs," Shabz commented while Radz hid her giggles behind her hand. "Does Punjj know this side of you?" Radz turned her face away, wiping tears of mirth from her eyes.
Shifali placed her hands on her hips and just looked at the girl. Both girls subdued. "When did you come Shabz?"
"Two minutes ago?" she tried innocently. Shifali said nothing. Shabz sighed. "Why does no one ever believe me?"
"Because you're you," Shifali stated. "Now up, both of you, go up, and Radz," the girl in question blinked at the change of tone. "I told Ravzie to bring you coffee." Radz flung her arms around her friend in relief.
"You are the best friend ever!"
"Coffee addict," she heard Dan mutter, and chanced a quick glance at him. His eyes were twinkling in amusement. She stuck out her tongue at him.
"You three," Shifali tilted her head at them. "I don't know who you are and I don't care. You're here, means you're going to help. Meera's sangeet has got to be perfect."
"San - what?" Chuck asked, while Dan just silently cursed his friends for dragging him into the unknown.
"Preet," Shifali snagged the younger man's sleeve as he passed her in search for someone to flirt with. "These three are your responsibility. Explain to them how an Indian wedding works."
"But Shifs, I was - " he was silenced by her glare. "I swear, you've gotten more demanding since PB proposed to Bhabhi." He paused as comprehension dawned. "Kahin tum jal toh nahi rahi, ke Punjj ne tumhe propose nahi kiya?" He wiggled his eyebrows.
Shabz slung her arm around Shifali's shoulders. "Thand rakh, Shifs, thand rakh. Don't respond. He doesn't need encouraging."
Preet made a face at her, prompting her into rolling her eyes. "Waise, Radz, I was looking for you only."
"Why?" Radz grew suspicious.
"Woh, Nonee aur Bhav kahin nazar nahi aa rahey," he pouted. "You two dragged them away," he accused Radz and Shifali.
Radz noted the frown on Nate's face when he heard Bhav's name mentioned, despite him not knowing the context. Someone was jealous. Chuck, too, looked like he had swallowed a sour lemon. Dan just looked amused.
"Shifs, are we supposed to go, or stand here all day?" Shabo asked, ignoring Preet.
"Chale," she began to walk off, and the other two followed, though Radz cast a look back at the three angrez men, grinning at the befuddled look on their faces. Dan sent her a panicked look, to which she just shrugged.

Meera sat demurely at the dresser, listening to her friends gossip behind her. She would give anything to be able to move about freely, but Shifali had given her strict instructions to stay seated and not move, and had ordered Ravzie to make her obey her orders. Meera knew that Ravjot was more than capable of even sitting on her to make her stay still. She listened to Ravz tease Bhav and Nonee over the events that had occurred in New York, that Radz had told them about. Neither girl really remembered that night, though they did remember the morning after.
"There are three hot angrez guys downstairs," Shabz announced as she walked into the room, only to be bombarded with hugs, and then plagued with questions.
"Apparently one of them tried to seduce you when you were drunk," she directed at Nonee. Bhav spluttered on the water she had just taken a sip of. (Ravjot had brought coffee, but had refused to give any to either Nonee or Bhav, claiming that they would act the same way when hyper on caffeine as they did when drunk. Both girls had turned bright red and not argued, though Bhav had muttered that if it meant Nate, she would not mind being drunk again.)
Radz sauntered in, picking up a glass of cold coffee. She perched herself on Meera's dresser, the two girls just watching the spectacle in front of them. Shabz demanded an explanation, and Ravzie complied, launching into full story mode. Within ten minutes, the girls were all in splits, even Shifali, who had agreed to delay bringing Meera downstairs, despite Prem being betaab to see his fianc.
"Okay, we should go," Shifali told her friends, knowing that they were very late.
Meera immediately stood. The girls all giggled, knowing that Meera was as betaab to see her Prem as he was to see her. Meera blushed.

Nonee froze when Chuck approached her, Bhav crashing into her from behind. Both girls stumbled a little, before being caught by Preet, who had come with Chuck. Neither saw the frowns that crossed Nate and Chuck's faces, though both grinned at Preet as he flirted with them. "Ek na ek din toh hona hi tha."
"Kya?" Bhav asked, Nonee still unable to speak in Chuck's presence.
"You both were bound to fall for me," Preet smirked smugly. "Everyone does."
Nonee giggled, and to Chuck's astonishment, flirted back. Here, he had thought she only did that when drunk. "Preet," she placed a hand on his chest. "Obviously. Tum toh, ho hi aise."
Preet grinned, hugging her with one arm. Bhav caught sight of the men behind him as she pulled herself out of Preet's grasp. She would let Nonee flirt with Preet all she wanted, it was not like she could speak clearly (if at all) in Chuck's presence.
"Nate?" she asked incredulously.
Nate stuck his hands in his pockets and nodded. Spying the way he was glaring at Preet, Bhav flushed. He liked her enough to be jealous.
"Wait, you know each other?" Preet's gaze flickered between the men and the two girls he had been friends with for a long time.
"Yeah," Bhav told him. Before he could say anything, she continued. "It's a long story."
"She threw up on Nathaniel's jacket," Chuck drawled.
"Or not so long," Bhav shrugged, her cheeks pink.
Preet raised his eyebrows. "Heh," he nodded. "Yeah, you do embarrass yourself pretty easily."
Bhav ignored him, focusing on Nate. "I did apologise for that right?"
Nate finally cracked a smile. "Many times."
Bhav peeked at him from under her eyelashes, a small grin on her lips. It was nice to have this attention from an attractive guy, despite the circumstances of their first meeting. Preet decided to spoil the moment (or knowing him, he did not notice the moment) by asking Nonee why she was silent.
Nonee only spluttered a little, turning bright red. Preet frowned at him then turned to Bhav. "Who broke her?"
Bhav cracked up. Preet's frown deepened, even as Dan and Nate chuckled. Chuck, on the other hand, kept his intense gaze on Nonee. She was intriguing.
They were interrupted by Radz running up to them, pulling Preet's ear and telling him to go to his brother, before she turned to her friends and directed them to Meera.
"Why are you channelling Shifali?" Bhav demanded.
"Is that the name of the one in green?" Dan asked Radz in a whisper.
She nodded before replying to Bhav. "She scares me. When Shifali says to do something, you do it, no questions."
Bhav nodded, before pulling the still stunned Nonee away with her. She paused, her gaze falling on Nate. Radz rolled her eyes. "Take them with you," she sighed. Dan smirked when Nate perked up. "Go," she flicked her hand at them in irritation. Dan remained where he was, to her delight.
"There is no way I'm going with them," he told her. "Not when I can remain with you." She blushed.
"Come on," she led him away, to where Shabz was standing.

A sudden bout of dhol caught everyone's attention, some more than others. Nonee jumped slightly, clutching at Chuck. Yug appeared, separating the crowds. "Yeh kya hai yaar, Punjabiyon ka function aur no naach-gaana?"
Ravz groaned and buried her face in Radz' neck. Radz patted her head, even as Shabz pointed at him, then Ravz, before bursting into peals of laughter. Dan looked questioningly at the girl by his side.
"Her boyfriend," she explained. Dan nodded.
"And what did he say?"
Radz translated for him, as Yug pulled Preet into the centre of the hall, softly conspiring with him. The dhol took on a familiar beat, and Ravz adjusted her head, still leaning on Radz, but now looking at the two men.
"Balle balle," they started. "Balle balle, ji soniyah de rang dekhlo, bina dor di udh di patang dekhlo." They danced to the song, gesturing at both Nonee and Bhav, much to Nate's visible annoyance. "Aaj mundey hoe inna de malang dekhlo, bina dor di udh di patang dekhlo."
Preet took Nonee by hand, and pulled her to one side, while Yug did the same to Bhav. "Ay kudiyan kudiyan, ay tikhiyan churiyan," they bumped into the girls, both girls making faces at one another. "Kudiyan jawan, hath na awan."
"Hhooo," Arjun sang in Shifali's ear, earning him a glare.
Yug and Preet continued, tugging on Nonee and Bhav's dupattas. "Ena pundiyan de mare hoe dang dekhlo."
Both girls pulled away, frowning at the boys. Tying their dupattas at the side, they slowly walked up to the two, who were getting confused at the smiles on their faces. "Sat sri akal soniye," they began sweetly. "Sunaoo sanu haal soniyo," Bhav stepped on Yug's foot, hard, causing him to hop about, losing his balance and toppling into Preet.
"Oh zaraa, nach ke dikha," Nonee hit Preet's shoulder with her own, smirking at him. (It is to be noted that Chuck frowned at this moment, rather darkly, and Nate concluded that Chuck Bass was indeed jealous.) "sadey naal soniyo."
"Na soch sawaal soniyo," both girls sang, dancing in unison. "Ehdi kyun chaal soniyo."
The two men jumped in unison, in front of the girls, shocking them backwards. "Eh naara naara naara, eh tikhiyan tejh katara."
Preet acted as if he were being electrocuted upon touching Nonee. "Bijli diya nangiya taara," she elbowed him in the gut. "Oh naara, naara, naara."
"Je kol ena de aaoge, ta pyaar ke chake khaoge," both men did bhangra in unison as the girls ran off. Radz quietly translated the events for Dan, who found the whole situation extremely entertaining.
Arjun began to sing, slowly, for his girlfriend. "Baage vich aaya karo, baage vich aaya karo. Jado chand chup jaaye, tussi mukhra dikhaya karo. Jado chand chup jaaye, tussi mukhra dikhaya karo." Shifali blushed, and danced along with Bhav and Nonee on the next two lines.
"Tu aagaya toh bahaar aayi, haseen ho gaye nazare saare."
Ravz had pulled herself away from Radz by this time, and had made her way out of the other girl's line of sight. Radz only got a glimpse of her when she pushed an old aunty, one with a weird fixation on Yug, into the limelight. The aunty began to sing to him, approaching him. "Mala vich phul tangeya, mala vich phul tangeya. Umran lang chaliya, par joban nahin langeya. Umran lang chaliya, par joban nahin langeya."
Yug had backed away from her in fright, colliding with Preet, who was equally as disturbed. Preet put his arms around Yug's waist, before realising what they were doing and jumping apart. The beat picked up again here, much to their relief, and Meera and Prem were pulled onto the dance floor as well.
Nate pulled Bhav aside at the end of the dance, and did not let her leave his side after that. Chuck would have done the same with Nonee, had he not come to his senses that he was Chuck Bass, and Chuck Bass did not get jealous. No matter how pretty a girl was, and how long he had been unable to get her out of his head. Dan, upon seeing the expressions on his friends faces, nudged Radz (which Shabz noted and made a note to tease Radz about it after getting all the details from her).
The dancing had stopped, and Yug was trying to appease his girlfriend, to which Preet was attempting to help him, and Shabz was ruining his plans. Getting annoyed, Preet turned to Nonee for help, but Shabz pulled her away, getting into an argument with Preet. Nonee, on trying to pacify them, got yelled at. She slunk away, bumping into Chuck. He glared at her, and she found her tongue.
"What did I do?" she snapped.
Chuck blinked. "I think I liked you better when you were drunk."
"You probably like everyone better when they're drunk." She matched his glare. Bhav buried her face in Nate's neck, giggling. Nate looked down at her in surprise, and when she realised what she was doing, she pulled away and blushed. He grinned and pulled her back to his side.
Chuck raised an eyebrow at Nonee. "You're feisty."
"And you're hot," she told him. "But annoying."
One side of his mouth quirked upwards in a smirk. "I like you."
Nonee grew flustered. "Well, erm," she took a deep breath. "Good."
Chuck's smirk became full.

Dan watched as the argument between Preet and the girl Radz had introduced as Shabz became more furious. Radz had left his side sometime back to try and control the situation, but neither of her friends were listening to her, and she had sulkingly returned. Never mind that Dan did not understand half of the argument, it was amusing to see two young adults act like little children, and not even notice that the reason they had started the argument had both reconciled and were flirting with one another at one side.
Radz groaned as she noticed the gleam in Preet's eyes.
"What?"
"He's going to do something stupid," she sighed.
Dan looked at her. "You sure?"
She gazed up at him in despair. "I've known them for way too long Dan. I'm sure."
Dan gave her a one-armed hug without thinking, and then paused. They looked at one another awkwardly before Dan settled his arm more comfortably around her shoulders. She hid a smile at his forwardness.
Preet moved forward to Shabz, and they turned their attention back to the arguing couple. "Ladki kyun, na jaane kyun, ladko si nahi hoti."
Shabz gasped at his outrageous words, her hands on her hips. She narrowed her eyes at him, even as he rounded up some of his friends and continued to sing.
"Soch thi hai zyada," he grinned at her, bringing his face close to hers. "Kum woh samajh thi hai. Soch thi hai zyada," she pushed him away. "Kum woh samajh thi hai." He brought his hands to her heart, stopping before actually touching her, because of her glare. "Dil kuch kehta hai, kuch aur hi karti hai."
He made his way to Yug, placing his arm around his friend's shoulder as he sang. "Ladki kyun, na jaane kyun, ladko si nahi hoti. Ladki kyun, na jaane kyun, ladko si nahi hoti."
Shabz frowned and made her way away from Preet. He followed her, "Soch thi hai zyada, kum woh samajh thi hai. Dil kuch kehta hai, kuch aur hi karti hai." She spun around, annoyed. "Ladki kyun, na jaane kyun, ladko si nahi hoti," he asked his friends. Looking at her, he smirked, and repeated the line. Upon receiving silence, he pulled his collar up and turned away.
"Pyar usse bhi hai, magar shuruat tumhi se chahe," Preet told Arjun, who would have nodded if not for the fact that Shifali was still moderately annoyed at him. "Khudh mein ulji ulji hai, par bhaalo ko suljaayen." He brought his hand up to Shifali's hair, patting it gently.
"I mean, you're all the same yaar," he complained to his Bhabhi. "Hum ache dost hai, par uss nazar se tumko dekha nahi. Woh sab toh theek hai, par uss baare maine socha nahi." Meera pulled his cheek.
"Sab se alag hai tum yeh keh kar pass tumhare aaye," he made his way back to Shabz, who was making faces at Nonee. "Aur kuch din mein tum mein alag sa kuch bhi na usko paaye."
"Uff, yeh kaisi shirt pehnte ho," he mocked Shabz, tugging at his shirt. "Yeh kaise bhaal khatathe ho. Gaadi tehz chalathe ho, tum jaldi mein kyun khaathe ho." he yelled in her face, "Give me a break!"
"Tumhe badalne ko, paas woh aati hai," he sidled up to Shabz, nicely this time. "Tumhe mitane ko, chaal bichati hai," he threw his sherwani dupatta around her. "Baaton baaton mein," he tugged her closer. "Tumhe pasathi hai." She ducked out of his reach. "Pehle hasathi hai, phir bara rulati hai. Ladki kyun, na jaane kyun, ladko si nahi hoti. Ladki kyun, na jaane kyun, ladko si nahi hoti."
Shabz stalked away from Preet, before her gaze fell on her friends, all of whom were wondering why she was not answering back to the ridiculousness of Preet's claims. She smirked. She flung an arm in front of Preet's path, where he was heading back to Prem's side. "Eh, itna hi khudh se khush ho toh, peeche kyun aate ho."
Preet looked at her in shock, even as Nonee nodded in agreement where she stood. Chuck looked at her, asking her what she was so happy about. All she said was, "All men are the same."
"Phool kabhi toh hazar tofein aakhir kyun laate ho," she questioned Preet. He stood dumbfounded, thinking of a response. Shabz took advantage of the silence. She began to mock his flirting style. "Apna naam nahi bataya. Coffee peene challenge? Main aapko ghar chod doon?" She fluttered her eyelashes at him. "Phir kab milenge?"
He made as if to respond, but she ploughed on. "Bikhra bikhra bematlab sa, toota phoota jeena," She gestured at him, her eyebrows raised. "Aur kehte ho alag se hai hum, taan ke apna seena," she pulled at his sherwani playfully.
Walking towards some of her friends, she complained, "Bheega tolya kahin farsh pe, toothpaste ka dakhan kahin. Kal ke mauze ulat ke pehne, waqt ka kuch bhi hosh nahin!"
She snapped her fingers at Preet. "Jeene ka tumko dhang sikhlati hai." She gave him a once over, "Tumhe janwar se, insaan banati hai." She gestured to herself. "Uske bina ek pal, reh na sakoge tum," she ruffled his hair. "Usko pata hai yeh, keh na sakoge tum," she winked at him.
"Iss liye, ladkiyan, ladko si nahi hoti," she danced in front of him, refuting his earlier claims. "Iss liye, ladkiyan, ladko si nahi hoti."
Preet shook his head. "Jaane kaun kaunse din woh tumko yaad dilaye," he made a face. "Pyar ko chahe bhool bhi jaaye, taareeqien na bhoolaye." He flipped an imaginary calander. "First March ko nazar milayi, chaar April ko main milne aayi," he held her hand. "Ikees May ko tumne chuwa tha." He let go and pretended to hang himself with the sherwani's dupatta. "Che June, mujhe kuch hua tha."
Shabz pulled away from Preet's side, "Ladko ka kya hai, kissi bhi modh pe woh mur jaaye." She slipped an arm through Radz'. "Abhi kissi ke hai," she let go and held Meera's hand. "Abhi kissi aur se woh jud jaaye."
She asked Ravz, "Tumhari Mummy Daddy ghar par nahi hai, great! Main aa jaoo?" Then looking at Bhav, and then back at Ravz, she continued. "Tumhari friend akeli ghar jaa rahi hai, bechari. Main chod aao? Uff." She rolled her eyes.
Preet spread his arms wide, giving another reason. "Ek haan kehne ko kitna dehlati hai. Thak jaate hai hum, woh jee behlati hai."
Shabz fiddled with her dupatta, "Woh sharmati hai, kabhi chupati hai." She used Preet's shoulder as an elbow rest. "Ladki jo haan kehde, use nibhati hai." She pushed him away. "Iss liye, ladkiyan, ladko si nahi hoti," she wagged her finger in his face. He grabbed it and pulled her towards him. She stopped abruptly. Raising her chin defiantly, she yanked herself out of his grasp and raised an eyebrow. He whistled the tune they had been singing to, before bowing with a flourish.
"So does this happen at all Indian weddings?" Nate asked Bhav.
She shook her head, grinning wryly at him. "Only the ones we attend. We're a crazy lot," she admitted.
"I kinda figured that when you refused to listen to your best friend, got drunk, and then went home with someone you didn't know," he teased, blue eyes twinkling. Bhav blushed.
-||-
Dan, Nate and Chuck were invited (or forced, depending on your point of view) to stay for the wedding. Preet had become fast friends with Chuck, now that Chuck knew for certain that there was nothing going on between Nonee and Preet, just casual flirtation. Nate spent most of his time with Bhav, and Dan was just too sweet to sit around and do nothing, and so got roped into helping prepare for the wedding.
The day of the wedding finally arrived, and Dan, in complete author mode, was grilling Radz about the rituals and wedding process. Radz, as much as she liked the guy, was running out of answers, because she did not understand half the rituals herself. Both then caught hold of Prem's mother, Radz' curiousity peaked as well, and sat her down, ready to take down everything she told them. Shabz walked pass them, taking something to Meera's room, and commented, "Rab ne bana di Jodi."
Dan looked at Radz, who had buried her face in her hands. "Do I even want to know?"
"No," she answered hastily, before Shabz could say anything. Shooting the younger girl a glare, she told her to get lost, though in a kinder manner.
Chuck trailed in with Preet, both exchanging notes on pick-up lines and flirtation techniques. Preet's mother hurriedly finished her conversation with Dan and Bhav and told her son to get ready. Less than an hour later, the wedding began.
Nate situated himself next to Bhav, to no one's surprise, and constantly plagued her with questions, quietly flirting with her as well. Nonee (who was now capable of holding a conversation with Chuck) kept herself far away from him, scared that she would embarrass herself. Dan was engrossed in the wedding itself, occasionally exchanging smiles with Radz as he actually understood the entire programme.
The wedding was over before they knew it, and it was far from uneventful, though thankfully, not as eventful as it could have gotten. Preet decided that throwing flowers on Shabz was more fun than throwing them on Prem and Meera; Arjun nudged Shifali and asked her when their turn was, to which Shifali had responded that he needed to propose properly first; Chuck texted Nonee, seeing that she had her phone in hand, and having gotten her number off of Preet, which scared the living daylights out of her; Nate got distracted by Bhav's hair, playing with it rather than focusing on the wedding; Ravz squealed as Meera and Prem completed their last phera, hugging her boyfriend's arm and Dan and Radz began to discuss in earnest the possibility of writing a book on the wackiness that encompassed their friends.
Unfortunately, the next day was the day everyone left for their own homes. For those who lived on other continents, this was a sad day as they would not meet for a long time. Dan and Radz promised one another long emails and messages, and phone calls when possible, Dan stealing a quick kiss from the girl. Chuck very calmly informed Nonee that he would be visiting her, often. When she reminded him that he did not know her address, he smirked. She could not help the grin that sneaked onto her lips at the fact that she had enamoured Chuck Bass.
"So," Nate took in Bhav's form. "This is goodbye, for now."
"For now," she agreed.
"I guess I have to make my way to sunny Singapore soon," he traced a finger down her cheek.
"Why is that?" she asked coyly.
Bending down slightly, he whispered against her lips, "So I can do this again." He pressed his lips to hers gently. They broke apart to wolf-whistles from most of the group.
As Bhav and Radz got into line at the check-in counter at the airport, Bhav sighed happily. "This was probably your most brilliant idea."
Radz glanced at her friend, and shook her head. "Tum pagal ho."

So yeah...let us know what you think, because really, we're all just crazy, aren't we? š
Love,

P.S. I did NOT write this. The writer merely copied my format because she had nothing better to do. š
