Yet, despite this convenience, Spreha strongly feels that television still carries a charm that can never be replaced. She believes TV brings people together, offering something simple, familiar, and accessible. “It reaches even those with limited internet access. It’s reliable and easy for everyone,” she adds. For many families, sitting together in front of the TV remains a cherished routine—something OTT platforms cannot fully recreate.

According to Spreha, daily soaps and reality shows continue to connect deeply with audiences. Daily soaps bring relatable family stories and emotions, while reality shows keep viewers engaged through voting, discussions, and social media. “TV still gives us shared moments and a sense of routine—that emotional connection keeps it alive,” she says.

When asked which iconic show she would love to see return, Spreha chooses the timeless classic Nukkad. She grew up listening to her grandmother’s stories about the show and feels it represented simplicity, community bonding, and heartfelt storytelling. “Characters felt like real neighbours you’d meet at the street corner,” she shares.
