Divya Bharathi was secretly married to Sajid Nadiadwala. Until she died no one knew about their wedding. During her funeral she was dressed as a bride as Sajid said that Divya always wanted the world to know about their wedding. After her death Sajid became famous and is now a popular producer. Divya's family still think that Sajid had a hand in her death.

Even now Sajid's movie start with a note saying 'In loving memory of my wife'.

If you notice, this list of "shocking deaths" have majority of women/female actors who were either murdered or committed suicide because of depression or inability to cope with the pressure of being in the industry.

This just goes on to show how hard the film industry is to women in general. Especially in a conservative culture of India where once you get into the glamorous field, you are considered.. for the lack of a better word, "indecent".

It's truly sad. But the fact that a movie like "Fashion" that depicts women's turmoil in this field, was very well received and was considered a hit gives me hope that societal outlook towards women in the glamor industry is changing, albeit slowly.

I loved all Divya's Movies especially Deewana and Rang shame she passed away before he time😭

OMG i didnt no the man in dil hil dil mein killed himself! am rele shocked at that one!😲
