why family members ignoring experienced Dadisa

Really.. off late the family members are forcing Dadisa to agree to silly stupid things rather than taking her experienced and clever advice. Yesterday was the heights when Bhairo and Basant wanted to convince Dadisa for a grand wedding. Dadisa is right when saying "Hamari taraf se sab shanti se ho jaaye wahin bas hain" .. what is the need to celebrate in a grand scale when their own daughter is having difficulty accepting the wedding. She is pregnant for Gods sake and even educated people will try to perform a hush hush wedding in such a case. But Bhairo and Basant convinced Dadisa just becasue of some stupid talk by Anandi.. who is nowadays crying at the drop of a hat.

I agree to you...but to some extent all this is because of dadisa's usual stubborn behaviour.....she has always used force to push her family members to the extent that they new feel that anything she says is just a means of pushing them further.....basically a sort of rebellion has risen which does not differentiate between good or bad...just rebels.

I agree with u.. Dadisa is right many times.. she is right on this wedding issue too.

i think its a better idea to call atleast most of their relatives and friends. have a quiet wedding might raise eyebrows and set tongues wagging.

as for anandi, she has been real irritating in past few weeks.

plus, shyam's excuse (to his parents) is right. a grand wedding will remind sugna of her first marriage. but even an ordinary wedding wud compel her to draw comparisions.

According to shastras, a pregnant woman can't have a wedding at all, small or big. So I don't know why the fuss about inviting people.
She can be experienced, but she is a very difficult person. it would be impossible to live with someone like that!

what i feel is that the rest of the family members wanted her 2nd wedding to be as grand as the 1st time bec. they are not doing anything wrong by marrying sugna to shyam.
