Shyam is hiding the fact that Suguna is pregnant from his family. How far can he go doing this? Will Madan Singh not find out at all? I would be surprised if this happens??🤔 Silly Maasa, how can the child in the womb be married as well if Suguna goes thru the pheras. Cant understand this? What if the child is a male child?

well, actually, it does make sense. it is according to the shastras, where when a man and a woman are taking the pheras, they are binding in matrimony, soul, etc. so the child would be a part of the arrangement as well.

I think every one forgets a simple fact..Shastras are written by men and not God...Its strange but most of these rules tend to make things more difficult than easy....I dont know what they are hinting at..Shyam lying to his parents!!!

Very true that Shastras are written by humans, but I have been going to a Bhagvad Gita class and all that is in that book is so applicable even today. I guess the interpretations differ amongst people. People still linger to the age old traditions and not change with the world. That is what is Maasa's problem. It is total nonsense that a pregnant woman's child is also married of during the pehras. But again thinking about rural Rajasthan, I would not be surprised if this is still believed there.......😭

I think Shastras are applicable to people who are existing in this world by the so called process of birth.
A mother in three months of her pregnancy does not even has a complete developed baby , if one is talking in terms of Shastras then I would say in scientific terms it's not called a baby but is termed foetus.
All shastras were wriiten in keeping mind worldly material and immateria existants.
One one side creatives are showing a complete orthodox village, but in that they have not failed to show two people maintaining intimacy. Something beyond reality. I would have preferred if they had not brought this pregnancy issue in between.
Bringing such issues will sort out nothing rather give some ideas for five or six episodes.
