Shakuntala To Go OFF Air (Confirmed)

Hey guys i just heard it on Tv as well as in some other site... Shakuntala is being pulled off air from 3rd of july... your views on it??

This is so unfair and unfortunate.StarOne should end its unrealistic soaps instead of Shakuntala.

Hi Ramsha,
Shakuntala is not going off air because of DMG. DMG has nothing to do with Shakuntala. I enjoy watching dmg and there are many viewers who enjoying watching it.
However I would say that if starone has to introduce fresh new soaps, then instead of ending the existing current running soap, they can start the new ones by replacing them with old ones. I dont know why are they repeating Hatim, dost bana ghost, Sara bhai etc..

the show has literally been running and has fallen a lot of times as well i.e it made a lot of mistakes along the way.....

the most obvious was the unexplained disappearence of kalki

and as always the historical shows become unsuccessfull as it has little following

as we see even here on the forums many other forums have more member than the shakuntala forum which has been a bit inactive

but i'm glad i had a great time seeing the show (while it remained sensible) and discussing it here with the members who visited

Mariyam I agree with you. Though Shakuntala is beautiful love story but writers need to be more creative and sensible. The sudden dissapearance of kalki, rishi shatanant etc makes no sense.
Anyways bloopers are there in many soaps and even the top films...so it does not matter so much but the main thing is how they generate the interest and attraction of viewers by showing a beautiful story.

@ Sano...thats really very shocking news indeed. I was not expecting that they would end shakuntala so earlier. I think they should not end shakuntala like this. I wish shakuntala to continue on starone..I hope its trps will increase.

Well it is not really unexpected.I will miss the show though.Hope to see Gautam and Neha soon in another show.
