REPLACE THE JUDGES ON INDIAN IDOL - Page 2

I think blindly copying American Idol judges would be a wrong strategy. Instead, they should understand that Indians are more emotional by nature and pass comments that don't hurt them but yet motivate them to work on the weak points. I know it is difficult but they can still try. I think the Sunidhi Chauhan idea is good as she's a complete package of a singer-performer. Replacing Anu Malik with anybody else is a good idea. A. R. Rehman is a good idea again. Sonu is just fine in his place.

I don't think replacing judges will help. I think SONY has a hand in all these antics created by judges. It adds more spice to the show and raises TRPs.

exactly...infact the idea and concept is the pop idol who started it in the first place and when they are responsible for SONY making money, sony cannot even change the colour of the stage, the way the judges speak etc etc...that all comes as part of the package...

for example, in KBC, who wants to be a millionaire were very adamant that KBC should even use the same music and sound effects....

its copywright and cannot be altered.

do u really think.. ultimate judge are judges or public.. there judges r performing their duties.. n here public will vote whom they want.

I believe Anu Malik should be changed. I don't think he's a very good judge of singing abilities. Sonu on the other hand is quite good. I would replace Anu with Shankar Mahadevan and then you will see this show rock.

Farah is a needed coz we obviously dont want a n II who just sings with their eyes closed. do we? We want a performer...not a brilliant dancer or something...but some1 with stage presence
Sonu is the BEST JUDGE EVER...of all the music shows...He's really good...he's very frank but at the same time not ridiculing...n he tells ppl wat the need to knw...

Sayin tht, I think having farah khan is not totally justified...she doesnt knw ANYTHING abt singin n here the MAIN criteria is SINGIN..Id have preferred Sunidhi Chauhan in farah's place...coz Sunidhi is the ONLY singer who ROCKS at performing as well

I would disagree about Sunidhi Chauhan here. My family saw her at a live performance and she loses her breath while performing on stage. Her songs in movies rock...no doubt about that as far as music videos go, they are shot after multiple retakes. 2 great live performers with tremendous energy that I have personally seen are Usha Uthup and Remo Fernandes. Unfortunately, neither are on the top today with star power. Otherwise they would make good judges. IMO

i thnk the judges are fine, but it would be better if javed or shanker were replaced on of them, maybe anu or farah.

this is all to add some spice to the shows. the fact that they have chosen farah khan instead of a singer itself is for us audience to criticize them. every week they say and do things and we discuss that. negative publicity is also a good way to make the show a success. it's all about TRPs. 😛

i think sonu is f9 but i seriously want anu malik out of the show 😡
