The future is here
With 'Kal Kisne Dekha' set to release, debutant Jacky Bhagnani is ready to embrace the future

All set Jacky Bhagnani

Debutant actor Jacky Bhagnani considers himself "a mischievous, simple, light-hearted boy next door." Jacky, the son of Vashu Bhagnani, who is the producer of movies like Coolie No.1 and Biwi No.1, is ready to take his plunge into the tinsel world. As a responsible father , Vashu is trying to shape his son's dreams by launching him in the upcoming Kal Kisne Dekha.

The path ahead

As someone who grew up in the industry, Jacky is well aware of the competition here. He understands his background would help him only to make a beginning, "My father is opening the door for me, but I have to tread myself and I am well prepared," says the youngster. To stand apart from the never-ending queue of Bollywood strugglers, Jacky underwent training at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York which produced celebrities like Al Pacino, Rober De Niro and Angelina Jolie amongt others. Asked if he has butterflies in the stomach with the release round the corner, he says , "I have my feelings divided on a percentage criteria, I am 25 per cent excited, 25 per cent nervous, 25 per cent anxious and still figuring out the remaining." About working with a veteran like Rishi Kapoor in his first movie, Jacky says , "The best part about Rishi sir is that he does not know that he is The Rishi Kapoor.

He is a very humble man, always ready with a helping hand, providing opportunities to the entire team to learn and grow."

Jacky recently performed at an awards function and garnered positive feedback. "I am glad people here are accepting me. There was a time when I was completely rejected by the society as I weighed 130 kg and my waistline was 44 inches. People used to make fun of me and that made me lose my self esteem." Obliged to his trainer Jacky says, "My trainer has educated me for a lifetime; he made me work out six days a week to shed those extra kilos. Only then could I regain my self-confidence to seriously consider a future in movies. I am aware actors have to look perfect, we should look good even when we are asleep."

Jacky draws inspiration from the Bollywood hunk Salman Khan. "I consider Salman the original heartthrob, the one with a perfect body. Many have come and gone but he has remained," says Jacky. Talking about his dream roles he says, "I would love to play the roles Aamir Khan did in Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar and Shah Rukh Khan essayed in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge."

Kal Kisne Dekha is will hit the theatres on June 12.

^Salman has said that he hates it when people say poor guy etc..,Here is Salman's recent quote on the comments-
"I have heard people saying "Poor guy,has such an unfortunate life".For me my life has been normal.Yes there have been difficulties but nothing drastic like losing my loved ones.Other people have more difficulties.
When I feel very low and fed-up with my life,I just go out of my house and see the watchman snoring on his chair and feel that I am so lucky to have the life I have."

that is sooo well said... and soo true... for there are so many unfortunate people out there... he is quite lucky.... i just felt bad because people made so much fun of him... but i am glad he took some steps and corrected the problem and took it in his stride... i wish him luck and hope he always stays grounded...
once people taste success, it always gets to their head, unfortunately... and he is much more lucky than many of the other newcomers.. at least he has the whole fraternity (if i can call it that) welcoming him...!
