Episode 6 – Update by Pranx
(I saw only half the episode so I don't know what happened in the first 20 min. I think Shelly was elected as the MD)
Vish and Payal are having some discussion about Shelly. Vish tells her that Shelly has changed now. She even thanked him today. Payal remains skeptical. We can see that Shelly has thawed towards Vish. Meaning that they can have a meaningful discussion without either of them going up in flames.
Nick gets a 'brilliant' idea to get the HK accounts checked by a corporate detective. He drags Shelly to meet the one that he's finalized. The detective is an eccentric guy, somewhat like a brilliant but an absent-minded maths prof. Shelly is unimpressed and tells Nick that she'll hire him only if Nick personally checks all the accounts with him.
They then go to meet Mr. Sahai at the hospital. He's surprised to see Shelly since it's the peak time of the hotel. Shelly tells him that Nick wanted to talk to him. Nick launches into an explanation about the corporate detective but Mr. Sahai just cuts him off to ask Shelly the need to have the accounts checked again. When Nick tries to interrupt, he coldly tells him that he's talking to Shelly and not him. Nick gets the message and he leaves. Shelly gets angry at her dad for treating Nick so rudely, but her dad justifies it by saying that Nick will destroy the hotel with his impractical ideas. He also warns her that in future, she will not take any decision without first consulting him. She leaves in a huff.
Later both of them go to the pool-side restaurant of HK. Sujit gets a 'bangda' (mackerel) fry for Nick. It's a funny scene where Sujit tries explaining the recipie of the dish to an irritated Nick. The duplicate gang meanwhile is busy enjoying themselves on the other side of the pool. Shelly sees Vish along with them and tells him that these unsophisticated people will lower the standard of the hotel, but Vish tells her not to worry since he won't let the situation go out of hand. Surprisingly, Shelly just says OK and leaves.
The detective is meanwhile checking all the logs. The GM had manipulated the logs, but he deftly shifts the blame on to Vish by saying that Vish had handled those accounts. The detective tries asking for Vish's explanation, but every time Vish is called, there is some other emergency in the hotel which requires Vish's attention. This helps strengthen the detective's suspicion that Vish is avoiding answering the questions because he's guilty of manipulation. Nick, who's just looking for an opportunity to pull Vish down , agrees with the detective.
The duplicate gang continues to create a ruckus in their room and Vish has a hard time controlling them. Two of them get into an argument with Nick at the poolside. Nick abuses them badly and they in return. Push him into the pool. Finally Vish and the Colonel have to physically pull them apart to put an end to the argument.
For the first time Shelly holds Nick responsible for the fight. She shouts at him saying that he just thinks about himself and not the hotel's reputation. She starts worrying about what will happen if the troupe refuses to perform. Nick says that nobody is going to watch their stupid show and she should just tell Vish to announce that the show's cancelled. Meanwhile Vish too is worried about the same thing and goes to their room to give them a pep talk. When he comes out from their room he sees Shelly and is surprised to see her there. She tells him that she came for the same reason that he did. She tells him so many things are happening so fast. She had fired him but his fear for Mr. Sahai brought him back. Vish corrects her by saying that it was not the fear but the love and respect for Mr. Sahai that brought him back and goes away.
The show is horrible but the audience enjoys it. Shelly is happy that the show was a success. She goes to Vish and thanks him and also shakes his hand. Vish is shocked by her behavior and wonders what came over her. Just then the detective calls her to one side and tells her his suspicions regarding Vish. You can see from her face that the truce between her and Vish has come to an end. She gives him an openly hostile look and storms off. Vish is just confused with the whole scene.
