Well everyone has their say why undeserving people have been selected. Well this is my say:

Voting in Indian Idol 2 is controlled by Bookies. I think the bookies bet on someone who is unlikely to get selected and then they employ people to send votes. For ex. if they get 100 people to vote 1000 times for a single contestant, it would result in 1 lakh votes for a single contestant!! which would result that the contestant is automatically into the next round and also that Sony receives just above 6 lakhs per piano round thus the results are highly tamperable. Further the phone lines are open till 930 in the morning which gives them ample time to send in the votes.

The reason this did not happen in II 1 was because the phone lines were open till 1200 in the night, so no one could influence the voting pattern due to time shortage.

There has to be some truth in this because I dont think anyone would vote for Jolly Das or Ravi Tripathi.

I know the above theory is strange but not impossible!

I agree with u. I think u have a point. Losing interest in the show day by day.Now if Amey or Karunya is voted out I shall definitely stop watching the show forever.

I'm with you.

I dont think anyone can influence voting pattern in the galas because generally in Galas an average of 20 lakhs is received making the results highly untamperable.
