they showed the "best of DID" last night at 12 and again in the afternoon (in the US), and it really was a treat to watch. 😛 seeing those amazing performances made my heart ache though..knowing that it's finally completely over and we won't get to watch those FANTABULOUS performances again until next season. at the same time, however, it made me realize how much better the choreography (especially remo's) was at the beginning of the show, when all of the mentors had really great and new concepts to present every week. performances such as the aati jaati mix and the holi one with salman and khushboo will alwaysss be in my heart..but i feel like remo lost a lot of that magical touch he had at the beginning with those performances towards the end of the show(especially with salman's choreography..)..and ofcourse, geeta had a pretty hard time coming up with good choreography each week.. always falling behind terence and remo. terence's choreography is still a treat to watch, but i still liked the older performances better than the most recent ones from his group.
i'll really miss DID, but i guess im kind of glad its over because it really seems like the choreographers need a break to come up with fresh ideas. hopefully next season will also be as good as this one was..
and finally, were there any dances that you wanted to see in the "best of" show but weren't there?
