Koimbatore attai's son mahesh's wedding, all of the sivagami amma family members are present there except jeyanthy as she couldn't get leave from her office. Selvam and archana came in, everybody welcomed the couple, and happy to see them, vinod talked to selvam, at the same time sivagami amma came infront asked something from attai. mum and daughter saw each other, archana called her "amma", but sivagami amma pretend she didn't notice that, attai and SK too said her to talk to archana, but she completely ignores everyone. Archana and selvam went inside the wedding hall and archana happily talked to everybody, sivagami amma enjoy seeing her daughter happily chat with everybody. Attai asked archana to come with her, as she wanted to introduce her to her samanthi amma, but when attai introduced to her, that lady's expression changed when she noted archana doesn't wear any gold on her, after they went, that lady said to another lady sarcastically, this girl is a relative to her samanthi, but she doesn;t wear any gold and sarcastically told, she must borrow the saree from someone. Sivagami amma heard this, and she is so sad.

Sivagami amma, called kavya inside and asked her to remove her chain and put it on archana's neck. Kavya agreed immediately and she go to archana and asked her to come with her, selvam noted that and he too follow the sisters, as he has no idea why kavya asked archana to come with her. There kavya try to put her chain to archana, archana surprised and stopped her asked why she is doing this, kavya replied samanthi amma was talked sarcastically about archana, so mum wanted archana to have that, selvam anxiously waiting what archana is going to say, and both sisters didn't saw him, archana told, for getting high opinion from someone else, pretending that she has something actually she hasn't at the moment is wrong and she further added, if she accept that chain, that is a disgrace for her husband, and she is so sure, that her husband will buy jewellery for her, that time also will come, till that she will be remain as she is now, kavya shocked, sivagami amma's face, a sadness appeared, and selvam's face glows like a 1000 watts bulb, he is so proud of his wife, and that gives him a pride, and reflects in his walk, he very smartly walks and sit beside vinod and started to chat with him.

At the same time, a kid was crying, seems it needs some attention, kid's mum was not patient with her at the time, archana offered to calms down the kid, she carrys the kid and started to talk to her, and her husband saw that from where he was, and started to talk in sign language. ( couples use this sign language widely, 😳 nowadays), selvam told in sign that they too will have a kid soon, archana feels so shy and little embarassed but happy too, she crossways shakes her head and says no, then he says whether one kid is ok.., archana nods agreeingly (ithenna aachu enaku😲😲😲, naan sign languange translate panna aarambichutena enna??!!😆).

The marriage took place nicely, everybody ready to go to the hotel for the pre arranged kalyaana saapaadu. at the same time the mum of the kid came there and started to cry the chain on the kid's neck is vanished. Actually the kid's mum happened to be the samanthi amma's daughter, that lady asked her daughter with whom the kid was last, she pointed towards archana, now that samanthi amma confidently accuses archana, and she named her as a thief, selvam archana and all archana house members are shocked, selvam warned that lady not to talk like that, but she told everybody wears jewells on them, only archana doesn't wear any jewellery, so she must stolen it (enna logic ithu😕😕) sivagami amma stepped in and told, archana is her daughter and she wont do anything like that. but that lady blabbers what she told again and again. then that lady told archana must be taken inside and take a body check😡, archana was so ashamed to hear that, desperate selvam put a hand on his wife's shoulder to console her, at the same time. the kid's dad came in and he had the chain in his pocket. sivagami amma furious, but that lady casually told, if they got a doubt, its natural to ask people.😲😲. Now sivagami amma's entire anger and desperation turns on selvam, she frustratingly told, her daughter have 45 svgns of gold, then she pointed at selvam and told "ellathukum ivan thaan kaaranam". Scene freezes on archana's shocked face.

21st THURSDAY MAY

Sivagami amma pointed to selvam and told "ellathukum ivan thaan kaaranam", everybody shocked archana was so furious. Sivaraman told what is she talking about, his wife replied, what else she can say, he is responsible for their daughter archana's disgrace today. Because they sent their daughter with 45 svgns but now she has none of them remaining. (sorry frends,... the stream stopped, someone pls fill this gap, or else will do it later😊).......................................
archna's face reddened with anger, she told she don't want to call them as uravu, till her mum treat her husband selvam with respect👏👏, vinod try to calms down the situation, and told, mum was upset because archana was accused for something she wasn't responsible for, but archana interupt him and told, she already got the named as a theif by her anni, vinod completely shuts down with this, then archana coninuted sivagami amma always waits for an excuse to scold her husband selvam. sivagami amma shocked. And archana told, all the time selvam get accused because of the jewells now she is taking responsibility for the 45 svgns, and within 20days they will return it. With that she asked her husband to come and left the place. Sivagami amma's face was surprisingly calm and only one expression left there, she is proud of her daughter as ..."en ponnu"

At the park, selvam stands and thinking archana sits on the bench with anxiety, she asked her husband to forgive her, as she knows how much debts he has, now she unwantedly talked and challenged her mum, that they will return the jewells within 20 days, Selvam told, he is the one, who has to seek forgiveness from her, what her mum told at the temple was completely true, because of him, she lost all of her jewellery. But archana told, she knows he doesn't spent even a bit of the jewellery for himself, and even though she gave all of them, she was so happy as she had a chance to take a part in his responsibility. Selvam still not happy, he continued, what a good and dignified girl archana is, now she got the bad name because of the jewells, archana stopped him and told, in case if she doesn't live with him, then he has a moral responsibility to return the gold to her mum, now she is living with him as his wife, so why should he return the gold, there is no need for that. But selvam told, he wanted to marry archana without any dowry, at that time he couldn't talk against his mum, but this is the chance to fulfill his wish, and when he return the gold, that makes him, he married her without any dowry, archana gets tensed and asked, whether he can listen to him or not. selvam come and sit beside her, and told, in this matter he will not listen to her, but ask her to give permission to proceed in this and find a way to return the jewells. Archana told, she is sad when he said, he won;t listen to her, but so proud too, as he is asking for her permission, she holds his hand supportively and give him strength to go forward.

At sivagami amma's house, she was folding her saree, sivaraman came in and started to talk about what happened in the morning. She keep on changing the topic, at last sivaraman asked whether she doesn't wanted to talk about what happened in the morning. Sivagami amma replied..she was so proud of her daughter, her husband shocked, and she continued, she was so annoyed and gave a piece of her mind, because her daughter's dignity was questioned, just like that archana get annoyed and gave a piece of her mind, because her husband's dignity was questioned, and as a whole she was so proud of her daughter, as she was daringly challenges to her mum infront of the big crowd,. sivaraman didn;t expect this, and he asked, what is she going to achieve by getting jewels back, sivagami amma sighs and replied, that is what, she herself can't understand too..

At periappa's house, siva came and told, about the jewellery matter, and selvam is now ready to borrow money from somewhere, even for very high interest, periappa is worried, but he doesn't know what to do. Siva asked him, not to tell selvam that he told this and left.

Bhagayam;s house, rani sits and studying, vasu came there and ask for coffee, at the same time rani asked mum money for the bus fee, she told she doesn't have any, bhagyam asked vasu for money, vasu told he has no money, and asked rani to walk to the college, she told it is 16km, can't walk, then vasu ignoringly told, then stop going college, rani said, whenever she asked selvam anna, he never replied like this, vasu get annoyed and asked for coffee again, bhagaym told there is no milk , only black coffee is available and that is also for today only. She needs money to buy provisions. Vasu ignores this request, and at the same time, he heard the song, from archana's pocket radio "daddy mummy veetil illa....", he forgets the money problem and started to enjoys the song, inside archana stopped the radio as she doens;t like the song , bhagyam told vasu...archana purposefully doing it, and hint something about the radio when archana came out.

Bhagyam hinted archana something like she stopped the radio purposely, archana looked at her but kept quiet. Vasu boasted that he will borrow money from somewhere and and hang a 64 inches plasma TV, rani said, still he got plans to borrow money not to go for a job and earn money. Vasu complains to bhagyam. At the same time revathy came in, bhagaym and vasu go towards her, and bhagyam very anxiesiouly asked what happened to her job matter? Revathy told she got the job, as a receptionist in a hotel. Bhagyam and vasu were so happy and bhagyam said to her DIL, if she like to go to work only go, there is no compulsion to go to work, revathy smiled at her and told, she wanted to go and she likes to take that job. After she went inside, vasu shamelessly told his mum, why did she tell things like this, in case if revathy told, she doesn't want to go, then what he will do for "soru"., bhagyam told, they must always keep revathy happy, that is far more important for them. Vasu agreed.

All of a sudden, three strangers came into the house and started to explore the house, all of the house members asked who are them and why did they come into their house and do like this, one of them answered, someone wanted to adamaanam the house and get the money, everybody shocked. bhagyam asked who did ask the money, and she is the owner of the house, so how come someone try to adamaanam the house, one man answered a gentleman named narayan came and ask them to do that. Everyone shocked. Bhagyam started to scream, but the men told her, she must deal with her family internal problems, and they only did what they have asked to do. And they left.

After they went, bhagyam scolded archana with harsh words😲😲 (aarambichutaangaya, aarambichutaanga), archana shocked to hear those words, but she silently proceed to their room. But vasu, said in a loud voice, that there is no need to scold anyone else, as selvam is the one behind all this and he needs the money now, thats why periappa is keen on doing this. Archana angrily came back and told she will tolerate anything, but not accusing her husband. And she asked bhagyam why peria mama should do that for them, bhagyam again get into her typical mood, and told, she knows what happened at the temple, and archana's challenge to her mum, archana was speechless. Bhagyam continued that she brought that motherless kid in such a nice way, now he is doing all this to her, archana get really annoyed and warn the MIL not to talk bad about her husband, bhagyam sarcastically asked what will she do, will she cut her into half with the aruva..Archana replied, she will do that if needed. At the same time selvam came in, and he heard the last part, he scolded archana for arguing. Archana told, they talk bad about him, but selvam told whatever it is, not to argue with anyone. When selvam about to go with archana, vasu stopped him and ask, why is he doing this, selvam shocked and asked what he did? vasu told not to pretend that he doesn't know anything, and told about the house, bhagyam too started her blabbering again.

Selvam told, he didn;t know anything about that, and if it is periappa, they can ask them, until then, ask everyone to mind their own business, and went inside with his wife.

Next day, everyone attend the round table conference at periappa's house, selvam asked periappa why he tried to pledge the house, periappa told, it is important to save selvam's dignity, selvam wonders who told about the jewells, periappa said, siva came and told everything and its his duty too, to arrange the money, as he was the one, who taught selvam, keeping the word is very important, bhagyam asked him, if he is so concern about keeping the word, why he try to go aginst his own word, once he did give to her, and she continued, when she came to the house as a newly wedded wife, periappa promised her that he will give that house for her, and he legally transfers that too. Now how can he ask it back again, selvam interupt that and told periappa, he shouldn't hear words like this, and he can take care of his own problems, but periappa said, its his problem too, and asks or begs bhagyam to return the document as he only wanted to pledge the house not sell it, but vasu and bhagyam told, in case if selvam couldn't pay off the house will go off from their hands, Now poonga try to interfere, and vasu and him have an arguement, periappa at last told, if bhagyam has any respect on him, he asked give him the document. Bhagyam and vasu look at each other,

Periapt ask bhagyam what is her opion. She thinks a while and says she will give the documents but with one conditional. She wants some sort of guarantee to convince her and then she will give the documents. Everyone thinks. Selvam says his shed payments will be settle soon and once the documents comes to him he will write the shed under her name. Bhaygam seem a little convinced and she agrees to give the documents and leaves the place with Vasu. Periappa ask Selvam why he agreed as that is the only sottu left for him but Selvam says it ok. Arhcana being with him is a big sottu for him (archana mugalthila bulb hehehe 😛😆…)

At the land office Selvam signs the documents. Bhayagam is there too. Officer warns him to make sure settle payments montly on time. He gives Bhagyam to sign but she wants Selvam to sign in her documents first saying Selvam will transfer the shed to her name. Periappa ask Bhyagam is she does not trust him and Bhagyam says already she trusted him in her house matter and somehow she feels like being cheated. So she wants Selvam to sign this. Selvam tells Periappa its ok he will sign the documents. Bhaygam signs the documents and money goes to Selvam"s hand.

Outside Archana house. Both Archana and Selvam are there to return the golds. Selvam advise Archana not to be rude to her mother but just return the golds. She goes in and the family welcomes him warmly. Sivagami is happy to see her but does not shows it. They ask where is mapillai and she says he is outside. Father ask her why did not bring him in but she says its ok let him be there. Archana goes to her mother and tells softly that she is here to return back the gold's. She ask for twenty days but god grace within two days she manage to return back the gold's. She tells her mother this was the gold that kept her mother insulting her husband many times and this is the same golds that got her back to her husband. She is happy with her husband now and glad she went back to him. Archana tells her mother she knows how much her mother had suffer for this golds. In fact her brother even went to jail for this. But today she also witness how her husband had struggle to get this gold. The only shed he had has been given to his mother and the only house they are living are put in pledge. Sivagami has some slight feelings sort of guilty. Archana tells her mother she was happy when Sivagami spoke for her when she was blamed as thief. But that happiness did not last long as immediately Sivagami accuse her husband for this. Even now Selvam send her in asking her not to be rude to her mother. Archana says many times she tried to talk to her mother but her mother just walks away. Today archana got a chance to tell out everything in her heart and she is happy. After this even if Sivagami does not talk to her anymore Archana will never worry about it. Archana leaves.

Sivagami has tears and calls out Archana. Archana turns in happiness and shock. Sivagami ask Archana how can she think of her mother this cruel? She is not a cruel person as how she looks like. Sivagami says she has realized Selvam naallla gunnam. Archana is happy to hear this and her face shines in happiness. Sivagami says she was only worried of Archana the day she left from here. But seeing she and selvam in temple that day so happy konjiraning it made her so happy. She came back that day and even told Sivaraman how happy she was to see her daughter with her husband. Even that time she scold her mother in front of everyone< Sivagami did not feel angry at all. She only can see how happy her daughter is with her husband and how happy he is keeping her that makes her daughter talks for her husband. Sivagami ask forgiveness to Archana and Archana is happy and ask her mother not to say like that. Everyone in the family is happy to hear this. Sivaraman then ask Sivagami if all this is real and she says yes. Sivaraman ask her to then go and call mapilai in. Everyone looks at Sivagami.
