Can The Writers Make Sense? Can They Get Facts Right?!

It’s utterly baffling and bizarre to me that I am writing this post now but I had to do it.

The episodes these days are just not up to the notch barring the one with Mihir Tulsi celebrating Valentines in the car.

The Mihir accident track made no real sense if it was just going to be about Mihir needing physiotherapist Vrinda. Could have dropped the cupboard on his legs is all if that was their only concern going forward. I am sure a stupid way could have been managed to do that. Maybe Mihir could have simply fallen down some stairs thanks to his rangeen chashme worn even indoors for god knows what reason everywhere be it home or office.

Next, the dialogue writer/s needs to be given some caffeine or cocaine or a combo, Idk, whatever makes them wake up. Because how do you constantly and consistently make the same blunder over and over again? How is Angad constantly called the Bada Beta when the canon of S1 is very much kept up with Gautam, Karan and Ansh being written into the script for this season too. Gautam and Karan have both APPEARED are DEFINITELY older than Angad by all means AND are Mihir’s sons! They’re not some random dudes who just so happen to be Viranis unlike these 3 siblings foisted on us!

Ansh has been acknowledged as well via flashbacks and dialogues mentioning his name! Noina taunted Tulsi not too long ago about killing him! Harsh hasn’t been mentioned yet but Harsh is integral to Ansh’s existence as his presence is a result of a child swap!

So how can people who have written lines for Gautam who appeared not too long ago either make such stupid mistakes? In what universe is the 5th son of a couple considered as their eldest repeatedly?

Baapji called out Mihir yesterday regarding throwing his oldest son out! Mihir has done that to only one son and he’s by no means the eldest. Gautam is! And we have seen Mihir practically begging him from the hospital bed to come back home - Gautam has stated he’s angry because he feels like he’s been forgotten - not once has he mentioned being thrown out of SN! Karan is not a candidate qualifying for this either considering he’s not shown up post leap and we know he has shifted to US and last we saw him he was miffed at Mihir. Not the other way around. Harsh has to be mentioned yet!

Is it too much to ask for consistency and just keeping track of the characters that show up and/or are mentioned?!

Ajay Pari is already a bitter pill to swallow regardless of how good the actor is because the girl in question doesn’t seem to deserve a nice man like him giving her a second chance. So why are the writers making the rest an absolute disaster to watch too?

It’s already baffling that Dev is set to marry randomly in 2 days without his parents as he also got engaged without them. You’ll had Saahil drop by like some courier boy and then got him to disappear back again! Isn’t per the canon of this stupid season Dev a son of Saahil’s? Didn’t he have a sister called Diya too? So where are they when he’s getting married? Who is his mom? Ganga, Tripti or someone else entirely?

I was expecting more tuhir moments post accident, but got crazy noyna attics!

The show is becoming cumbersome to watch, I am pretty certain, if noyna goes scratch free this time too, I am done with kyunki 2..

Barkha may be good, but I didn't sign up kyunki for her..tulsi in sn, is the soul of kyunki... !

The trimoorti esp that irritating good for nothing suchu, is not my cup of tea.

Writing is so inconsistent. Some episodes are good and some episodes are just 😒😒. The two valentine episodes were great, but after that the last two episodes could’ve been so much better if they had included Mahashivratri pooja and just made the yesterday’s episode better with much better hall drama. And like you said, stop calling Angad the bada beta when he’s not.

They made Parth to be Karan Tanya’s son when he is actually Karan Nandini’s son based on S1. Can’t they take proper notes for each character from S1? If not, they can just watch this video to see who’s related to who https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSPR7SLCW7K/

I was thinking the same about Mihir’s accident. It was promoted for a week, but it turned out to be nothing big. The age thing is another issue this season which doesn’t make sense. I hope ekta and the writers improve the show’s writing and make the episodes much more engaging

All I can say is that a ITV soap is not worth of so much of attention and analysis. Just go with the flow,

The Viranis have just left Ran in SN all by himself? They conveniently had a line mentioning Daksha and Gayatri are sick and Hrithik is with them to explain their absence. What’s the point of showing such a huge family when the ensemble cast can’t appear for at least a few key episodes?

Noina being affronted by the doosri aurat tag is just next level delusional or stupid. What else would she be called? She’s not entitled to be called a wife nor a fiancé yet. She’s also not entered into a relationship with a man who was either a divorcee or a widower for her to not have any blemishes on her character for whatever reasons his previous wife is not with him. Tulsi is very much alive, legally still Mihir’s wife and she’s a homewrecker. It’s like she just didn’t expect that tag or was affronted by it being stated by Shobha out loud finally after 6 years.

In a saner world no child of Tulsi’s or any Virani who has any integrity would have ever spoken to Noina nicely. Mihir wouldn’t need to insult and taunt her in a roundabout way on a daily basis because that’s how his kids would’ve operated on a de facto mode when it came to this woman foisted on them who made their mom leave their home and them.

Hrithik marrying her niece was never even an option until and unless he was trapped by circumstances as in caught red handed in bed with Mittali somehow, even if he had to be roofied or literally hypnotised to do it.

Also it’s just bizarre that Mihir would get what seems akin to embarrassment when dealing with a prospective samdhi and his family owing to this situation but we had Noina do that whole Tulsi routine from the title track at the beginning of this leap where she literally invited influencers/some magazine paps in SN and called it her home. They flaunted their relationship at the exhibition, in front of prospective investors.

I can understand the occasional mixup or goof up as human error but this is just bizarre. At first the Parth thing also was weird but this is taking the cake with the repetition of Bada beta for Angad who throws his weight around even when Shobha is present in the hospital who by all accounts is older than him even if not a “beta”. So by what rights does Angad think he can be the one to decide things or be the saviour?

Also Tulsi living in that chawl is just so boring. Rent a flat for crying out loud! You got an order for 10 lakh sarees, didn’t you? Some of that money can be spent on getting yourself a decent accommodation even if it’s a rented one in a suburb and not town area. Not like chawl home is free either. At least this way so called talented bada beta will also get an upgrade in his accommodations. Just show that he was saving money but whatever he lacked was chipped in by Tulsi.

But no, they’re more than happy with forced gareebi and chawl for god knows what socialist era glorification of poverty being good and a hallmark of decent people.

Even people living in chawls wouldn’t mind shifting to a flat if they could!

I know. But this is just lazy by even ITV standards. I am not asking them to make a high quality show regarding India’s moon mission or Operation Sindoor, just asking them to remember they showed Gautam and Karan; had Ansh mentioned; so how are they still going with bada beta nonsense for Angad? It was jarring in the initial episodes too considering how Karan Nandini appeared almost from the first episode itself iirc. This is not even Einstein level tough logic but basic logic that my 5 year old niece is capable of making and retaining in her made-up stories!

They also keep away from social media like it’s 1995 and no one knows what social media is because it wasn’t yet created.

These people are shown as diamond merchants! Do they realise that Gujaratis and particularly the diamond merchant community is one of the most industrious and influential communities in India? How are they not on social media? They would have their own website, social media handles and everything for their business if nothing else.

Gujaratis are quick to adopt to technology especially if it helps business! So this is beyond dumb!

Gujarat was held back before by lack of infrastructure and good governance which led to limited power supply initially but it was literally one of the first states to go 100 percent electric.
