With the results of JDJ3, there are many questions raised regarding the transparency and credibility of the reality shows.
As Vijay Bhatter said:
"But the BIGGER question is how much reality is in reality shows and how we can make it transparent for future reality shows so that people enjoy and at the same time have the trust that even single vote matters."
As a viewer, we are left with a question whether our valued votes were really considered for the judgement of the winner?
We need a better system for "reality" shows were public voting is considered. As suggested by Vijay Bhatter:
"a) They should only allow 1 vote per number per voting.

b) The voting process should be administered / audited by a third party reputed auditing company to ensure that the money that each of us pay by voting is at the end depicts a genuine outcome."
I think it is the time, when the reality shows need to prove their credibility and show how "real" they are.
Will you vote again for such reality shows?
You opinions are awaited.
I hope here can be a peaceful discussion on this fact, without any bashing. I hope we can get a better system in reality shows, which ensure that our valued votes are not just a business of making money for them.

Well I have nothing against voting system and I dont think that there is anykind of defect in voting system as its audited by higher authorities.

The best thing is if you doubt or if ur sure about the fault in voting management and judgement then DONT VOTE AT ALL!

"a) They should only allow 1 vote per number per voting. Thats a debatable proposal because they would say they do not just want to test the number of fans but the amount of crazyness among fans as well. Also that would reduce their revenue so this proposal is never feasible.

b) The voting process should be administered / audited by a third party reputed auditing company to ensure that the money that each of us pay by voting is at the end depicts a genuine outcome." That is already the case. There is a directive from IB Ministry that any of the shows involving public voting and money has to be audited by both inhouse and external auditors.

I infact have a proposal, the show result can be left to judges but they can also have a popularity award i.e. most popular contestant, which they can update every week with who is leading thus ensuring more votes come in but that does not affect the result as such.

I agree with your second part. I am going to implement this.

I think one vote per phone line....but that is impractical because the channel needs to make money...so the more smses and phone calls....the more money the make....If you just make it the judges decision then the audience will loose "power" and viewership will decline...

There is no easy answer to this dilemma.

I agree with one vote per line....
N i also think if public voting is asked for the EVERYONE including the judges should learn to respect it and not go against it....
if they have in mind to go against it then its better they cancel public voting for the better of everybody😊
